Wales - major incident at a school

Dyfed-Powys Police confirms it is dealing with an incident at a school in the Amman Valley.

In a statement, the force said: "Three people have been injured and are receiving treatment.

"One person has been arrested and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

"Emergency services remain at scene and the school has been closed while investigations continue.

"We are working closely with the school and Carmarthenshire County Council. We are aware that there is footage of the incident currently circulating on social media.

"We would ask that this is removed to avoid contempt of court and distress to those affected. We would ask the people do not speculate while there is a police investigation ongoing."

…obviously we don’t know the extent of the injuries but they’re often described as ‘life altering but not life threatening’, which isn’t being applied atm so that’s good…

13 year old children are not "evil" :idc: and shouldn't be locked up for life for a violent outburst. I personally hope someone is looking into the circumstances that have led to this because I would imagine they are not good. Teenagers don't end up this sort of violent at random. I'm glad no one was more seriously hurt and I hope this child gets the help they need also.

I agree that I don't support a 13 year old being locked up for life (especially as I'm currently having sympathy with a 19 year old that killed an innocent man whilst high on drugs, and driving) so I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't agree with you on this topic really.

And Caleb (the 19 year old in question) had his life ruined by society, and reports were going around that he tried to kill himself, but he killed an innocent man instead.

But my sympathy for him is on how society pushed him over the edge.

And I am interested to see how a 13 year old has got so violent.
