The Big Brother house will be moved from its current location because "lairy" canal boat users keep disrupting filming.
The reality show house is currently located at Garden Studios, near Harlesden, but producers are now seeking a new setting.
According to a TV insider, producers were surprised to find that their waterfront setting in north west London was frequently disturbed by rowdy behaviour from passing canal boaters.
The insider told The Sun: "During filming of the most recent series’ they found that quite a few barge and boat users on the canal were pulling up and being quite lairy which disrupted filming.

How about putting those "rowdy" people on the actual Show, ITV?
I doubt that they read TIBB posts though, so my suggestion will probably be ignored.

Thank ye! I would have been back for CBB, but I fell behind on watching xD
I wonder where they will move to? I remember ITV Bovingdon being floated about before Garden Studios, it seems far more remote than being 5 metres from a public road xD
…wasn’t it built close to the canal in the first thought, Scarlett…to have the housemate’s arrive by boat…/…James Bond style……

While I don’t think Garden Studios was the best place for BB I don’t believe there is any truth to this rumour. There was only a single instance reported of the show being interrupted by people on the canal the article also contradicted what we already know about the shows future… A second series of the civilian and celebrity series have both been confirmed for 2024 and 2025 respectively.
As for the live shows lacking in atmosphere I think that is subjective. While the live shows have definitely been lacking polish and content (ie. eviction interviews) the mob should have stayed at Elstree or at very least not having them shut up whenever AJ & Will cross to the house.
I also think it was a missed opportunity not utilizing the BBLL studios more. Given that BB is unlikely to return to its traditional summer slot shifting the bulk of the audience indoors and leaving the FOTH as a more intimate space reserved for press/friends family/VIP’s etc would have gone a long way for giving the live shows a different look and feel from previous eras not to mention some much needed shelter from the weather.
The actual house was nice though. Was never a fan of the location.

Sure Maru
over 40 staff members
worked hard to get that house nice.
The Location was the error
after being there - they realised the canal
was active and had a sound problem.
It went there to save Cash
as it is an Industrial Site,
less to hire.
Personally, I don't much care for the C5/ITV iterations of the house. I liked how the house in the C4 era always felt stylish and modern, and yet also very clinical, stifling, and even kind of shoddily produced. The houses of the C5 (and thus far, ITV) eras have felt overly homey and polished. Too much style and not enough of a stifling or suffocating atmosphere.

What's really missing at Garden Studios, is, ironically, the garden, given the size of the car park, and where the stage is located, it makes it quite tricky to make a garden like the classic Big Brothers, as well as the 'studio' nature of the house making it impossible to build the house around the garden.
I'm not sure we'll ever get a purpose built house again, but I do think there are better locations for the house which will give them a bit more space (and privacy)

I feel like there was some separation between ITV & C5. C5 always seemed too showbiz. ITV seemed to match better with the home vibe without feeling slobbish (somehow?) but feel very current. C5 houses always ended up feeling very slobbish to me towards the end...
I loved that the C4 era looked so torture  I only watched one series from then, but it was so funny all these OTT characters packed in a clinical-ish (best description, I agree) environment... more like watching rats in a social lab. I could see where one could think it feels a bit normal after a while being there, but then every now and then have their psych moments...
