So I've broken my glasses, and the optician couldn't do anything with them because of where the break was. My new ones are due in store in a week so until then I'll have a blurry life.

What a disaster.

you can get off the shelf glasses at boots and other places. You basically can try pairs on and see which matches your needs best. They are also cheap. They don't need to be perfect, just enough to make a difference

I'm a scrooge. Lol. I'm not prepared to pay out when I've only just had an eye test and will have new glasses in a week.

Have you got any spare Glasses?

I'm thinking to help you try and see a bit better.

Kate you will get a printed prescription, then you can order cheaper glasses from anywhere.

Yes, once you get the prescription from your eye test, you can then give that to any company to make the glasses for you

I've used glasses direct in the bast and they were great
