The citywide celebration to congratulate PSV on their 25th national football championship will begin at 3:45 p.m. on Monday in Eindhoven. Many fans took to the streets immediately after the 4-2 victory over Sparta Rotterdam, but the official celebration will start at Philips Stadion, the team's home ground. The players will take an honorary lap around the stadium where they will again hoist the silver dish they were handed as their trophy.

The flat bed trailer tour through the city will begin at 5 p.m. and should last about two hours. The starting point is on Frederiklaan, and will conclude at City Hall, with a route via St. Antoniusstraat, Willemstraat, Vonderweg, Mathildelaan, 18 Septemberplein, Vestdijk, Hertogstraat, PC Hooftlaan and Wal.

Once at City Hall, the players, manager, trainers, and staff will be honored by the municipality of Eindhoven on a stage set up in front of the building. The ceremony is expected to begin around 7 p.m.

The municipality said that City Hall will be closed from 12 p.m. due to the festivities, and that the entire area around City Hall will be cordoned off. Many of the public affairs walk-up counters and public phone lines will close from about 11:30 a.m. until the following business day.

The party in the city is expected to begin around 3 p.m. The Stadhuisplein, Markt and 18 Septemberplein will be decorated as event locations and will be secured with fencing. The ceremony can be followed on big screens on 18 Septemberplein and on Markt.

Overflow crowds will be directed towards two other locations with big screens on Catharinaplein and the Oude Stadsgracht. The players and team staff are expected to arrive at Stadhuisplein around 6:45 p.m. and the ceremony will follow.

The municipality has asked everyone planning to travel to the city to avoid using their own cars, and to instead arrive by public transport, bicycle, or on foot.
