Three rescue workers searching for the
crashed helicopter have gone missing,
a Red Crescent spokesperson says.
The search teams are close to the where the
helicopter may have crashed,

There must be a tracker on it.
But the Government is keeping it secret.

Red Crescent denies reports of missing rescue workers
Earlier, a spokesperson for the Red Crescent said three of the group's rescue workers had gone missing during the search for the crashed helicopter.
The organisation has now said that none of its workers are missing.
"All official updates about rescue operation will either come from the task force in charge of these operations," a spokeswoman added.

Tragic Accident
Fools to fly in Rain and Fog
smashing into a mountain.
i'm not convinced it was an accident. It seems strange to me that the chopper with the senior figures in it crashed and the other 2 were fine. Be prepared for iran throwing around some blame

Iran is fascinating in that it was a massively different place, within living memory of a lot of the people there and, of course, not everyone wanted change. That said, I think it would take a lot more than one death for it to have any chance at going back the other way.

well helicopters unlike planes, can fly below foggy weather
so that weather on its own isn't the cause of this crash
i wonder if they did stick to the flight plan? or something similar to Kobe Bryant's crash had happened, like too much traffic, how he had to climb to avoid that but ended up in the fog and got lost

"well helicopters unlike planes, can fly below foggy weather"
The fog started on the ground and went up -so they could not fly below it

yeah, when you think about the crackdown on women not wearing head covering alone, which he was responsible for, he got what was coming to him. Unfortunately, his deputy is favourite to take over, and he is an even more ruthless hardliner

I agree, Iran is a fascinating country. It was the extremely wealthy that didn't want change, but I believe, if any of them had known in 1979, what they know now, very few would have wanted it.
The 1953 coup d' etat, instigated by the British, to overthrow the elected PM and form monarchical rule was seen initially as a good thing, especially in the West. Although on the outside, it now looked like a very democratic country, it was anything but. The secret police of the Imperial State of Iran/Persia, were ruthless and that's why the Shah was eventually overthrown.
Allah should have saved him
Maybe Allah knew his nickname was “Butcher Of Tehran”
