Do you know what.
I couldn't care a single jot .
I've stopped watching Corrie BECAUSE of this rubbish storyline being dragged on and on seemingly for ever .
Her name has been said far more than it was when she was a character in it.
The character wasn't likeable nor acted that well.
Good riddance I thought when her character went out .
Then it's been all this nonsense about her since.
The soaps are really awful now .
However Corrie is in dire need of more accomplished writers.
Awful.

EastEnders is the best it’s been since at least 2010 so I have to disagree with the notion of all soaps being awful now.
But I really, really doubt Lauren’s actually dead. I like Swain well enough as a character but how are you gonna charge an innocent, vulnerable man with murder when there’s no definitive evidence that the girl’s actually dead?

Roy wouldn't hurt a fly. Not ruling Max out but he's playing a good game at Blaming others. Nathan seems too obvious but has but just come out of prison for control of underage girl. Joel has been hiding things from his gf is he hiding more. (70% think it's him) Think she's dead because of the blood on the curtain.

My guess is she’s still alive, but Joel has got her somewhere.

I think its a good storyline about a serious miscarriage of justice and in reality it wouldn't be over too quickly, it's realistic enough for me.
I'm hoping the pay off will be really exciting and nail biting for the reveal and not a damp squib.
I'm with Mitchell on the Joel theory, would be a great twist and the rumour is strongly doing the rounds atm.

I'm going for Oxford.:hehe:
Being serious, and looking at the poll I'll say Max.

Excuse me?!
When did Corrie start getting hip with the Discord crowd?
I should clarify that you don't want to be hip with a sub group within Discord.

It definitely wasn't Roy. I also think Joel.
With Nathan another strong possibility.
Can't wait for next week Corrie.

Agree with that. It's definitely back on top form.

Yup. 2011-2021 (except 2014 and parts of 2019, basically) nearly finished the show but it recovered. At least to the extent it has now. Yolande being back and valued more than she was towards the end of her original stint is just icing on the cake.

Wasn't my opinion. I don't watch the show. Just typed what my best friend said. I pointed out wouldn't she be alive for the big finale.

Oh I don't watch the Show either, that's why I reacted so strongly towards the idea of the story.
My apologies if I've weirded you out in my previous post.

Eastenders is my fave,it's been great of late, The Corrie story is boring now, it obviously wasn't Roy,think its Max or the solicitors boyfriend. Emmerdale is too much with Tom making the dog ill,so not liking that at the moment.

I struggle with Emmerdale at the best of times, Kazanne.

They should bring back the farm along with Seth Armstrong , Joe Sugden and his brother

Too much farm business was a big part of the reason I found Emmerdale virtually unwatchable for years and years. I understand a bit of it’s integral to the show’s quintessence but we can’t be having too much of that. Not when other soaps are miles ahead in terms of grit and drama that doesn’t involve stupid stunts.
