£20k is shocking as a payout for a death. Unbelievable.

No amount of money will bring back Kyra, but 20K is an insult.

…it’s an incredibly small amount for the loss of Kyra and I can’t imagine why a legal representative for the family would agree to that acceptance…but I’m googling away and can’t find anything to say that they were offered/paid £20,000…?…I can’t find any update story on that anywhere, I must be missing something…

The company definitely deserves to be punished imo.

How in the flying **** does a mistake like that get made?

…I don’t know, it just seems quite odd that there is no update that indicates any of the compensation pay out on any site…it feels as though it was something given out in error and then ‘deleted’ as it were when that error was realised…anyway, I hope that it is an error…it just feels incredible that …we’ll, it would have been a sum offered in the first place…but then that any legal representative would have allowed for it to be accepted…

It is a paltry amount, but maybe the family just wanted justice rather than a big payout  No amount of money will bring Kyra back and they might just want to move on, cannot imagine the stress of a court case on top of losing their daughter in such tragic and avoidable circumstances

…what an incredibly difficult read that is…a death that should never have happened but it tragically did…so many things not put in place for safety, that should have been…
