[Eamonn Holmes 'to be offered £250,000 fee
to take part in huge reality TV show'
after growing close to divorcee
22 years younger amid split from Ruth Langsford]
[Eamonn Holmes is reportedly being eyed up
to take part in the next series of
Celebrity Big Brother.
The celebrity version of the reality TV show returned
to ITV in March as Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne
signed up to the dramatic series.
And now Eamonn is said to be at the top of
ITV's wish list for next year's series with bosses
tempting him with a £250,000 fee.]
I would assume it could depend on his
Back problems.
I guess they could let him in a low-down door.
Health Trouble:
[Eamonn praised Ruth for her
'amazing' support after he suffered
a fall down stairs of their home in November 2022.
In 2016, Eamonn underwent a double-hip
replacement operation lasting
three-and-a-quarter hours after living with
acute pain for many years.
Then in 2018 Eamonn detailed his battle with shingles
and how he was struck with the virus
on his son Declan's wedding day.]

Would be a good signing
Would be a good signing
You still carrying a banner for him I see
:)
It’s funny how we all kinda have a soft spot for a somewhat unpopular/unpalatable character or two isn’t it .. I was the same with Boris through his more torrid times

…I don’t think that Eamonn has ever had any responsibility or accountability for a country’s people in the same way that Boris has…a government leader is always open to having their standard of leadership questioned, isn’t that the point in a democratic system…anyway, I’m not a fan of Eamonn as a personality, but Ruth obviously had a soft spot for him enough to have spent so much time in a marriage and working partnership…as for ‘unpopular’…?…well, pfffftttttt…let’s make our own decisions on that and not follow the crowd, as it were…
…I don’t know if he’ll be a good signing…I have a feeling that he’ll be quite quiet and a disappointment in terms of a housemate …but I really don’t know, he’d certainly attract some viewing and media attention, I feel…and that’s always good for the show…

Both widely disliked and loved by many at the same time - was my thinking

Sounds like a sweetheart …
“Eamonn Holmes has claimed that some of his ex-colleagues are “dead” to him.
I have a good Belfast street fighter in me .
The presenter has previously spoken out against his former employer ITV, after leaving his role as a host of This Morning in 2021.
Speaking to co-host Isabel Webster on his GB Newsprogramme on Wednesday (18 January), Holmes suggested it was sometimes “good not to like people” and “good to have revenge”

…no matter what public opinion is on any entertainment celebrity, I just can’t ever equate them to be comparable to a country leader who has the power to regulate and make decisions for the people …one impacts a whole population, the other has a very small percentage of viewer-ship …anyway, we’ll never agree on that comparison …

…anyway….I’d still say that Boris was a good signing for BB, if he was the one who was being rumoured as a possibility…which is all that was said…
…I do feel though that the tabloids start these speculations ‘in association’ with the BB producers to begin interest for the series…there is a celebrity story such as this and the inevitable follow up of….OH WILL They TELL ALL in BB…scoop…the answer is generally…no, they don’t …

I dont have particular feelings for him one way or the other, but I dont personally get the hate he receives from you, he hasn't exactly done anything to deserve it imo

We all have likes or dislikes
I’ve seen him on telly hundreds of times and he irritated me every time ..
Maybe guys see / recognise things in a guy that women don’t - for whatever reason.
He was a hopeless flirt ON camera so you can only imagine what he’s like off camera .
I’ve actually worked with a couple of similar blokes .. both good looking fellas -so confident with women . . chatty , smooth talking yet completely different when they were chatting with us guys - disgusting in fact
One was married with young kids yet it didn’t stop him chatting/flirting / bedding any (usually younger )women who fell for his patter . He was the same for over 10 years .
I am certain that Holmes is one of those guys ..Ruth has as good as said that over the last decade so I don’t know why you take his ‘word’ over hers

It's the same people who hate on Clarkson and farage that hate on Eaomon, but we all know how much of a decline those sort of people are on.

You could lump in Trump and Piers Morgan with those three .
I’d suggest they all have zero respect for women and use and abuse them at will .

I'd suggest that's rather ridiculous of you to say that.

Maybe £500K
would hook him.
He can not walk for long
So he is ideal to be seated in the GBnewsHD studio
Early AM start 6AM in the week.

I'd expect him to stir things up.
Who knows, the house even to celebrities can alter things considerably as to how they react to things going on in the house.
