which do you prefer, in terms of having your music on a external hard drive or on your computer
i myself dislike FLAC files as they take up a ****load of storage space, whereas MP3 files are smaller in size, but quality is more or less still the same for me personally, and FLAC also take up a lot of energy from a external hard drive if you play them, the light keeps flickering all the time whereas with MP3 files they take up lesser energy

i had one FLAC song which was like 250MB :skull: LOL
or i also had a game of thrones soundtrack album in FLAC files, which was like 630MB
i cleaned up like 2GB of storage space with removing those :fan: a lot of free space now for more MP3 files
i do keep an eye on how much storage space i have left since i also need to keep some for the SSD on that ;)

What's a FLAC?
FLAC is a type of audio file, apparently you have enhanced or sharper sound quality, idk because it sounds the same compared to a MP3 file
MP3 and MP4 files are okay, MP4 is more like a converted video to audio file from youtube for example
FLAC is a lossless file format where as mp3 is compressed taking all the goodness out, but it reduces space usage.
If you are streaming, and your wifi can cope with it, i would choose lossless every time. There is no need to store files these days

Okay, thanks for the information Nicky.:)
I will probably say MP3.
Mp3s are amazing
128 is acceptable but I prefer 192 kbps
