Imo the Euros is getting VAR to work faster (which is a huge plus for me,) but ultimately it's some of the actual rules of the game itself that needs fixing up, because it makes VAR look really bad under certain scenarios.

I controversially don't believe that England are the worst performing team at the last 16 (that would be Italy by some distance imo) yeah we've been bad, but I do believe that of the huge teams that are still left in the competition that France are playing worse than England.

And I do also think that England are also better than Slovenia and Turkey, and possibly Belgium (as they did lose to Slovakia this tournament.)

I don't know if England are actually quite as bad as we're all thinking, yes we've been underwhelming and we're clearly not the best team in the competition, but I could see England actually having a competitive match with every team bar Spain and Germany.
