Both Liverpool and City have made Zero signings so far!

we also got two big pre-season games honestly

Fortuna Sittard vs VFB Stuttgart (yes the CL competing team from the bundesliga)

Fortuna Sittard vs Borussia Monchengladbach

tomorrow we are playing vs Team VVSB (which is a team made up out of free agents so no one knows what to expect there)

we used to practice against weaker teams solely but thankfully we changed that mindset now, doesn't matter if you lose in a friendly, friendlies are to learn from and improve before the actual season

Avoiding all football until the Community Shield now.World Cup finals for me. And only if England are there.

That's assuming Everton don't make the cup final before then.

only 1 team i focus on and that is Fortuna Sittard tbh

i'm not interested in those rich teams showing off with going to fancy training camps outside their countries, also what is bad for our climate

rather a friendly like this, than winning 10-0 or 13-0 against some amateur team which you can't learn from

mistakes you make in friendlies are good to learn from, for the real thing in the competition

They have but this friendly was booked in before they knew the stadium delay would bleed into the actual season

next match for us is against Monchengladbach

another decent bundesliga team, where Gladbach are the ones paying for that friendly

City lost again last night

I watched all the united games, and they were pretty rubbish in all of them. Ten Hag switches the 10 outfield players at half time and in the 2nd half it's always the players they are actively trying to get rid of that he puts out. I really don't see how that gets the best players ready for the new season

The Rasmus injury is minor and he will be back within the week. Which is great news as he scored a goal in the match an he was looking extremely sharp. Yoro has a more serious muscle injury and is likely to be out for a few weeks, which is not so good

It was a closer game than the score line suggested. Casemiro had a couple of howlers and our defence was non existent

Just heard that both Villa and Spurs have lost all their preseason friendlies

That has to be a tad concerning

the preseason games are a money making PR job these days. They bear no relation to the teams that will play in the premier league.

It's all about selling shirts and promoting the premier league. Most coaches would prefer to stay at home and and work in the training ground
