This reminds me of when an argument broke on out the Next Door app about the use of jugs of water to clean bottoms after pooping, people saying toiilet paper was disgusting and jugs were the way to go.... it went on for about 20 pages

I mean the way you’re all twisting your knickers you’d think they make EVERYONE use them. Calm down guys I’m sure there are toilets for all of you in there that you will definitely one day use in the Amazon warehouse in Leeds.

anyone with a good set of glutes?

Even someone with strong glutes isn't going to use this surely ?. Public bathrooms are already unhygienic ...so it's one thing to hover / crouch without touching the seat,I'm sure plenty of use do this to be safe ,but to actually squat right down on the floor ...is a joke  .

Making toilets for extreme religious cults is bronze age madness

Try and tell me why it isn't??

Surely not even you believe this ?.

Plenty of people of all faiths are perfectly happy & content using a regular toilet. Why would they switch suddenly to a hole in the floor... like we're living in a third world country.

People really are insane .

I've even heard people say we should all be standing on toilets when we use them as well, I'm pretty sure that's a good way to break your neck aswell as the toilet seat  :bored: .

I don’t really care. They can **** wherever they want and that’s kinda the point. Inclusivity.

Most amazon workers wear Jeans, or work trousers. You ain't going through the hassle of squating with them on, you might **** in your pocket.

Unless they are for the office women who are allowed to wear their silly costumes at work, then its just a waste of money.

These toilets are alongside normal toilets
Some men take a p1ss sitting down it’s not that deep unless you feel threatened by a toilet.

The way I see it though Glenn is that if anyone has an issue with the Toilets that are regularly used in the UK, then they don't have to live in the UK, go to a country where you get your preferred type of toilet is the way that I see it.

Plus this Amazon Warehouse is wasting money on something that the majority of it's workers won't even use.

…what Sheriff said, really…these will be additional toilet facilities not replacement ones…so using them will be a choice to opt in and use or opt out and use another choice etc..

Reminds me of trying to have a wee in one of these in India - actually it was more like a filthy hole in the ground - and instantly being engulfed by a swarm of mozzies who lived in there. *shudder*

Full squat is actually the healthiest way to poop in terms of bowel health, humans are not biologically designed to sit on toilets.

However I doubt most modern humans have the balance and leg strength.

Also

I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with "religion" and is entirely cultural... other parts of the world have toilets like this in entirely secular areas.

And I'm 99.9% sure that if it's a multi-cultural toilet area... there are other cubicles with regular ol' toilets?

"Mountain out of a molehill" springs to mind.

In 2007, we drove all the way through France and into Spain, the french motorway side toilets had normal toilets but when we crossed over into Spain they had the ones in the OP. I agree with your previous post as well that it's surely nothing to do with religion, how you use a toilet, definitely a culture thing

I was going to say, I've seen lots of these in Europe before

As far as I know there are no religious requirements in any major faith governing exactly how you should go to the toilet

I've even had a wee google and I can't find anything religion related other than that apparently, in Islam, men are supposed to sit down to piss unless they can be "absolutely sure that no splashes of urine will get on their clothes".

Surely that's good advice for everyone :joker:.

You're also not supposed to touch your knob with your right hand

In all seriousness I'm going to try peeing standing up using my left hand to hold next time I go to the toilet. I reckon it'll be a dexterity challenge you know. I'll have a mop on standby.
