A group of Just Stop Oil protesters have blocked departure gates at Gatwick Airport.

The environmental protest group shared footage of demonstrators sitting on the floor at the gate as frustrated travellers climbed over them.

Passengers could be seen carrying their suitcases over the protesters, who sat silently on the floor.

Just Stop Oil said seven protesters disrupted the southern terminal at the airport, joining 21 other groups as part of an Oil Kills international uprising.

File this under "pictures you can smell" ...

At least they're climb-over-able.

Tbh, at least they're not risking traffic incidents this time.

They're not that bad imo.

We should reserve that for the real scum of the earth imo.

Droopy, middle-class tossers. My advice would be, plough through them as hard and fast as you can.

There must be a better way to right wrongs than finding ways of disrupting our lives

it's a different level of offence to create disruption at an airport. The folks protesting there may find themselves jailed for quite a while

Some of the activists who conspired to block the M25 got like five year.

Those who were repeat offenders, and currently on a suspended sentence anyway ...

I have the app. As soon as the gate opens I get the number on my phone.

There are loads of information boards at the airport, particularly at terminal 5 because it's enormous, so attacking one message board is a joke
