Several avalanches with close calls when hiking in NZ. Was terrifying.

A couple of us travelled in a 4x4 from Darwin to Broome. One morning, waking up in the middle of the outback as the sun was rising I was drinking my coffee whilst everyone was asleep. I looked over at the creek and there were a few kangaroos and joeys drinking and bouncing around/playing. I just remember feeling so peaceful at that moment.
