So, the first of its kind, I think…not a TiBB member Hotseat but a TiBB member pet Hotseat and the first sitter in that seat is Tilly, who is the dog pet of Cherie…she’s taken time out of her busy walking and playing and eating and sleeping and tail wagging schedule to brave the probing of any questions that you’ve always wanted to ask a dog…

Yes more or less but my humans have discovered that it is best not to mix my food so I have wet food in the morning and dry in the evening, I have a very novel way of eating dry food I take a mouthful of kibble from my bowl then go and lie down on the mat in front of the fireplace and crunch it and then return and repeat, my humans think its very cute so who am I to deny them a daily performance

Yes of course, I would be brilliant at sniffing out bags of cocaine and I probably would get a medal and retire a heroine of the force

Oh yes I love to bark at delivery people and the postman, only from my bed though I never get up as I am sure my bark is enough to see them off

When my humans got me I have three toys but I dont have an interest really, my favourite thing to do is fix Mum or Dad with my most intense stare if they are eating until they give in, I dont whine I just watch intently.....this seems to do the trick, Mum got me a tennis ball but chasing balls is for lessors, my other favourite thing to do when out walking is to stare at other humans and go into stalking mode like the collie I am when I see another dog

I would say I am a bit of both I walk well in city but there are far too many more interesting things to sniff in the country

oh the woods for sure, love the shade and all the lovely places to sniff and sometimes Mum lets me off lead

Dad is worse than Mum and she tells him off, but Mum always gives me cheese, I am currently with a pet sitter as my brother couldn't look after me and they enquired if I liked healthy snacks like carrots and apple, I was aghast....luckily Mum put them straight...toast, cheese, chicken, ham, normal treats none of this healthy stuff :eek:

No I am a good girl Ammi, I am four now so have grown out off these childish ways

Well when I was adopted I arrived with a bit of background info one of which was 'no to small furries' well I haven't quiet lived up to that tag as I will see cats on my walks and in the main I pretend not to have noticed them, although one time I did make a playful lunge at one just to keep Mum on her toes

Not really if I am around other dogs Mum keeps me on lead as she doesn't trust me not to kill a lessor, many dogs off lead have run up to me but after a cursory sniff I bark at them to back off

oh yes I have the cutest low growl followed by a little bark when I am dreaming about chasing rabbits

So far Mum has been very good, I love going to the pub by the river, lots of things to stare at and some humans pet me and tell me I am a lovely girl, and Dad gives me crisps

Im not really a tricksy dog, I can stand on my back legs and spin around if following food though although I can hold going to the toilet until about 10am so thats a superpower

yes Nicky I do, though I dont spend much time in the garden, I love my walk or being indoors

I feel I have landed on my 4 paws Ammi, they all ADORE me

Even though my previous owner sent 3 toys all with squeaks I really am not bothered ...food, sleep, walks...done

My Mum didnt want a dog as big as me, but she was won over by my winning pawsonality, just something she and my Dad couldn't quite put their paws on but they just warmed to me

I can lay in for England, I dont move a muscle once I go to be and I never ask to go out, I just snooze and snooze

Yes I live near quiet a few woodland walks and the river and the beach though they have not taken me yet as I dont really like to get my paws wet

lots of homes put water bowls outside which is great and I love that, maybe they could add some treat bowls?

Meh we have woods at the back of us so we dont really get many, we do get squirrels and I do like a chase

No I like to take myself off to bed and if there is football on and they are shouting I am definately out of there, Mum thinks I must have past traumas with shouting ....

Thank you all for taking time to pose questions I have been delighted to answer.
Thank you to Ammi for arranging my favourite cushion, snacks and a refreshing water bowl
I am hanging up my lead now and will retire to the bedroom
PS....I am currently at the pet sitters, on Monday they were asking about healthy treats, by Thursday they commented on how much I loved human food and especially buttered toast, I have broken them :hee:
