“From the Amazon to the Andes” which doesn’t mean much given parts of the Andes are next to the Amazon.
Anyway I got excited because they are starting in Belem, and I love that city.

Yes in the north it can be limited but there is always good bus connections between big cities.

My route would require traveling in the back of a truck for part of the trip

I don’t know why the cousins aren’t taking a truck to Parnaiba. It’s such a direct route. And can get a bus from there direct to Fortaleza.
Mustn’t be allowed for safety reason.

Also worth going to beach at Barra, small, packed and not so clean, but the vibe is super cool.

Spent a day is Brasilia before. Such a great city to visit, so much interesting architecture and lovely to have beers by the lake with the capybaras

So stupid to go in land when you’re lucky if there’s a bus a day. Much better idea to go to the coast and do overnight buses all the way down the coast. Enjoy the cities and the beaches during the day and then have your pick of the 50 buses that go down the coast at night

I'm still on episode 1 , Kelly Brooke annoyed me a bit....does she think she's on holiday sunning herself or something?? :rolleyes: . So much time she wanted to waste ,when her man had some good ideas to actually reach destination points on time, Kelly wants to skip about on the beach ...when it's a competition lol.

Not sure why they aren’t ending the race in Pucon. That is the most iconic town in that region.

Anyway I can’t believe they have gone all the way from Belem to Puerto Montt in 3 weeks. Crazy no stop travel, I wouldn’t recommend lol.
