Oasis are doing a reunion tour next year.
Playing dates at Heaton Park in Manchester and Wembley.

I am excited.

Not quite as excited about the rumoured tucket prices of over £100

Taking the glory Annie. I confirmed this last year.

I'm not taking anyone's glory.....I just saw it reported and posted.

I knew there were rumours last year too but Liam has been tweeting hints for days and they expect tickets to go on sale later this week.

Sure it is money driven. Noel always said he would only do it if he needed a quick £5million. Guess his divorce may have cost him.

Am I the only one not excited by this. I'm a big Oasis fan BTW. Saw then lives a bunch of times.

How is this gonna work? Are they gonna do just Oasis songs cuz I doubt Liam is gonna let Noel do half an hour of High Flying Birds songs and vice versa, I doubt Noel will let Liam do many Beady eye songs. I shall believe this when I see the two of them hugging and smiling in each others company.

No, not yet
as it is for Next Year.

Liam is saying it.

Meanwhile, Noel has a massive Divorce Settlement,
so big Cash could be needed.

…I guess what people feel they’re paying for as well is a moment in music history in a one off music event…it’s something that only very few people will be part of by being there for the live event…I don’t know if anything will be in place so that tickets can’t be transferred for crazy prices and I hope that many regular fans are able to go…rather than it become more of an elite event for the more wealthy…

There will be a lot of 40+ year-olds with money to spend who will make this worth a lot.

Ditto for me.

I really like OASIS too.
One of my favourite songs of theirs is Champagne Supernova.

I recall conversations I had on here with a member InOne on here.
Who was a big Oasis fan too.

I'd welcome a reunion by them definitely.

It sounds like they are going to do lots of shows, its suggested that there will be 10 shows at Wembley alone, they are expected to make in the region of 50 million so I think the tickets will be in a range ....

hopefully fans will be able to get their hands on them and they wont be snapped up by Bots for resale

I paid £100 for the last Pearl Jam concert I was at in June, that's a lot imo and I only paid that because it was Pearl Jam, I wouldn't pay it for Oasis as much as I loved them back in the 90's, I already saw them back then and lets be honest they're not going to be as good as they were

Like most bands that get back together fans want to hear the old stuff so I would imagine mainly Oasis.... they are hardly likely to bring their solo songs to an Oasis reunion

SO hundred odd pounds to see Definitely Maybe an What's the story. I doubt there will be many tracks from post 2004. I'm not too enthused about this. I've got the albums and can listen to them whenever I want.

I would say 90% would be Oasis but each brother might do a couple of their favourite solo songs accompanied by the other one just to really drum home that they're now at peace with each other

I wonder if they'll do Europe or just do London/Manchester

More world tour dates to be announced
published at 08:09 British Summer Time
08:09 BST
Though only UK and Ireland tour dates have so far been announced, there are plans are under way for Oasis to tour other continents outside of Europe later next year.

In a statement released moments ago, the English band confirms that they will be touring throughout Ireland and the UK starting in July next year.

The other world shows, it adds, have yet to be announced.

There is no seats at Heaton Park.....its a field. You can get vip but all the rest of the tickets are general admission. All reports leaked from ticket places are saying £130-£140 for Heaton Park. Am hoping it's cheaper but bracing myself

Music promoters MCD have confirmed tickets prices will start from €86.50 (£72.96) plus booking fee meaning Oasis are set to rake in almost €15m in ticket sales for their two Croke Park Dublin dates. The shows are set to be some of the hottest tickets of the decade with dates confirmed in five cities across Ireland and the UK, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin, in the summer of 2025

I think because they have been out of the news for so long, people forget what things were like between the two of them

However, touring is the only real way bands make money these days and the longer they go without doing a tour, the less likely it is to happen. I just think fans are entering more than one lottery

All the Hotels near the gigs
have added £600 or £700 to the room.
Or Even More..............................

…apparently Andy Burnham stepped in on this as well…

After making bookings at the Maldron hotels in Manchester, at both the city centre hotel on Charles Street and at the Cathedral Quarter branch on Chapel Street, shortly after the announcement of the tour dates, many travellers were later told they were being sent cancellation requests to accept and that their bookings could not be honoured.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the hotel said that 'due to a technical error' with the booking system on 26 and 27 August, more rooms were listed to book than were available for the nights of the Oasis concerts at Heaton Park. "As a result, we are unable to honour all bookings made on these dates, and we are actively engaging with customers regarding their bookings", the spokesperson added.

The hotel is now 'investigating the issue' and vowed this was 'not an attempt to resell rooms at inflated prices'. The hotel is 'not taking any bookings' for these dates in the meantime, the spokesperson said, with the chain also looking into an issue that allowed a 'small number of customers to book the rooms at a higher price later in the evening'.

Night time economy advisor for Greater Manchester Sacha Lord weighed in on the issue, urging Maldron hotels to 'do the right thing'. The post, reshared by Andy Burnham on X, formerly Twitter, read: "Hey MaldronHotels.

"I'm being contacted by several people who booked your hotel for the Oasis concert, to say their rooms have just been cancelled and are now back up for three times the price.

"I'm sure this is a "computer error"... easy to correct. Do the right thing."

Demand is currently still overwhelmingly outstripping the number of tickets though.

I am in the ballot but no guarantee I will get pre sale slot and even then you're not guaranteed tickets

Park sounds pretty cool anyway tbh Annie, get yourselves some snacks and a couple of deck chairs

I know. A few more friends have said they going to do the same so we will have a great time.

…I was thinking that also…I know that your hope is to get tickets and you will if you’re able to …but it also has some very special points in being in the park…it means that a group of you would be able to watch together, rather than all be in separate parts of the audience…

I know. A few more friends have said they going to do the same so we will have a great time.

……it’s meant to be, Annie…in the park you’ll be able to enjoy the evening with friends, which you wouldn’t with ticketed access…it’ll still be a special moment in time for you all……

Oasis allowed dynamic pricing which meant that tickets originally advertised as £140 went for well over £300

Disgrace

I wouldn't pay this much anyway.

i know of quite a few bands that have reformed for the cash and then been a shadow of their former selves out on the road. I don't know if Oasis will be similar, but I do know that when they last were together it was a particular moment for them and their fans that just cant be replicated again because things just aren't the same

failed to get her tickets as she was not watching
the Ticket Master Screen.

pretty sure this whole reunion is Noel's idea, as he is the one without a career currently

Liam still is pretty much relevant in the industry, including recent EMA, BBMA nominations

They don't need to tour again especially after all the royalties they will have got from radio stations playing their songs since they announced the reunion  Radio X have played Oasis songs every other song since the rumours began

I think with the level of interest shown, there will be other events planned like watch parties and such. They have the potential to earn a few quid from millions of people

No one is going to pay those prices. It's a complete rip off. Hiking the prices just because tickets are in demand? Despicable :nono:

Do people really think they are doing it for the fans?

Seems like everyone in the world tried to get tickets regardless of age  Pretty sure every person I asked in real life had tried to get tickets. My friends b/f got them tickets, €180 each and he said his friend got the same area/value tickets for €407 each, that's pretty disgusting
