At least she wasn't singing.

The most cringe thing I've seen from a politician was Matt Hancock erm singing Queen's Don't Stope Me Now.
With Therese Coffey onstage with him.

Even Theresa May dancing on the tour she was on, was superior to that.

Nearly everything she says and does is toe-curlingly cringey and embarrassing, this included.

But it doesn't have anything to do with her competence as a politician.

Hope not, throwing up a bunch of crappy new-builds which will probably fall apart in twenty years ain't worth sacrificing the green spaces for.

I hope they do.
This will be one of the issues they will be judged on in four and a half years time.

So they will need at least to make considerable progress.

I agree about the crappy new build McHouses, but Thatcher started selling off all housing stock and they haven't been replaced for 50 years. Something definitely needs to be done.

What her son does shouldn't affect her opportunities within her career imo.

Seems politicians children should only come into play when it's Boris.

She must be a crapppy mother..up the duff at 15, leaving school pregnant at 16..gives birth to Ryan who went on to repeat his mother's mistakes making her a granny at 37, you would have hoped she might have tried harder with him..he seeen like the forgotten child..perhaps an embarrrasssment

i think the world has shown us over the last 10+ years, that people really don't care what politicians do or don't do in their lives. Look at Trump, look at Boris .... it doesn't stop them being elected. If Boris stood for a seat in parliament tomorrow, he would be voted in on a landslide. People that consider 1 MP a disgrace are happy to excuse almost anything from another. It's how the world is now, it's why we are all ****ed. There is absolutely no point in stressing over it because it isn't going to change

Tbh Joey, my main issue with the line of thinking is that it's a slippery slope imo.

If Zizu got his wish, he could see Politicians that he likes getting denied opportunities not for anything that they've done, but because it's a family member instead.

Then there's the possibility of some of this stuff being drafted into regular joe's workforce, where someone might be denied a promotion based on something that a family member did.

And let's face it, it wouldn't be the first time in Human history that a slippery slope happened.

Exactly this.
Nothing to add from me.

The day the chosen profession of sons, daughters or any other family members decide the worth of their parents or other siblings.
Would be indeed a slippery slope.

Plus anyhow, while it may be there's many other professions, it's NOT criminal or wrong to LEGALLY be part of the porn industry.
Absolutely ridiculous to try to destroy Raynor or in fact anyone else in this way.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on slippery slopes.
I fear very sadly the UK is going to be going down a fair few really dangerous and worrying slippery slopes in the future.

It's a sign of a wealthy parent who would rather he did that than put her hand in her own pocket.

It shouldn't matter.
Not at all

We had a PM in Johnson who is a well documented philanderer, has had numerous different children from a range of partners.
Who broke a law he imposed on others.
However that didn't and should not have barred him from being elected as Prime Minister.
Absolutely.

Now if that shouldn't bar someone from being a PM, then whatever his or Raynors or even anyone else's children do most certainly shouldn't bar them either

However she IS NOT even the PM anyhow.
Nor on the face of things at present is she possibly likely to be.
So what on earth is the issue.
The porn industry is NOT even illegal.
Maybe you have an issue with that but it really IS NOT.

I've known families where the sons/ daughters go into work or get involved in things their parents would have preferred them not to.
Good grief, there's parents who aren't even in their son's/daughters lives.
Often cruelly cut off by their parents or they've cut out one or both of their parents.
Often for misunderstood or silly reasons.

Are those parents to blame in your eyes, and should those parents be barred from careers,
because of the actions and thinking of their grown up family?.
Really!

I have no children but hey, whatever any children I may yet have may do will be down to them, just as whatever I may have done in life is down to me.
Which should not in any shape or form have destroyed mine or my Parents careers.

Exactly what ??
Legal porn is included in filming as well as being a profession in the wider porn industry.
If nothing illegal is being done, just what is YOUR real problem.

I find more irritating irrational hate against certain women or even men than someone choosing to work in the porn industry.

Yes absolutely.
IF it's what she was determined to do.
It would be immaterial what I thought anyhow, if she or even a son definitely chose to.
However I'd just want to support any ways I could.

We're not the jailors or controllers of the children we may have.
Of course we can try to guide them, however what they do with their lives is to be their choice.

I actually chose to follow my Dad into his career, however I don't think more of myself over others for doing that.
