I had trouble with Royal Mail today.

I'd ordered something, I was in for the delivery but he didn't knock or ring the bell. He just put a card through the door saying 'you were out'. :fist:

When I went to make a redelvery, Royal Mail told me my parcel had already been delivered. Not to me it wasn't.

Now I have all the trouble of sorting this out.

It's not Saturday 2nd class deliveries that are the problem. It's normal FIRST CLASS weekday deliveries!

I think it looks like to me, that they've already stopped delivering on Saturdays already anyhow.

I haven't seen a post van or postman/woman on a Saturday for years now.

You just go on the royal mail site and reschedule your delivery (for the following day if you want) It's hardly a big deal

why not save lots more money and don't deliver at all?

No, not always. Mine I had to collect. Wouldn’t give option to reschedule.

I hate when they do things like that, or when posties or couriers take the parcel away if I'm not in - put it in the freaking outbuilding, you mongrel!

(I'm not in a manshun or anything, all the houses in my row have one out front  )

i think we need to put it in perspective. I maybe send 2 or 3 letters a year. 40 years ago it was probably 100+ so the price is quite meaningless

I hate it when companies use Royal Mail to deliver parcels, you get a text the night before ....your parcel will be delivered between 0.9.01 and 11.01, they never arrive in the allotted time or even anywhere near, it is usually hours later

DPD bang on delivery time...EVERY time
