Was just having a chat with our Mock about ice cream and it's inspired me to make a thread.

Have you heard of or tried any unusual flavours?

I've got a coconut and passionfruit tub in the freezer. Sounds lush. Hope it tastes good. I'll let you know.

I've not tried, but have heard of Yellow Mustard Ice Cream.

It’s not really an unusual flavour but I love a Neapolitan.

I’ve tried some random ones in my time:

Wasabi
Bacon, Maple and Pecan
Sweetcorn
Kiwi and Coriander
Hibiscus and rosemary

…I had garlic and strawberry ice cream in a restaurant one time…it was one of their specials…it was actually really nice once my head accepted it…

I've never tasted any weird flavours, i don't understand the idea of strong savoury flavours in a sweet dessert :omgno: . Didn't Japan have fish flavoured ice cream.....which just sounds wrong on so many levels ewww.

Reminds me of those novelty fizzy pop drinks that people were trying on youtube as a trend, and it was all really sickly nasty flavours which shouldn't go together. VZx4LWZJnq8
