We, on the other hand, will continue to take them, house them, give them access to the NHS and generally treat them better than our own homeless. No wonder they all want to come here.

I saw a video where a van driver I think , found some migrants trying to hide in his vehicle....so he lied to them and told them he's not going to the UK ,so they wasn't interested anymore and they got out . Bear in mind... wasn't van & lorry drivers getting fined at one point ?.

For some context here the immigration numbers to Germany in 2023-2024 are nearly double that of the UK, despite the constant wailing from Reform-et-al that most immigrants want to bypass other "safe European nations" and head for the UK because it's so great here.
The narrative from certain people in the UK is essentially that continental Europe should be accepting the mass migration levels, shut up and leave us in peace, because we happen to have some water between "us and them".

And we are not part of the EU.
Some more context.. including the numbers who leave germany once they get there.
Germany
In 2023, 1.93 million people immigrated to Germany, with 276,000 of those coming from Ukraine and 126,000 from Turkey. However, 1,270,000 people emigrated from Germany in 2023, resulting in a net immigration of 663,000. This is down from the record 1,462,000 net immigration in 2022

And we are not part of the EU.
That's only relevant to migration within the EU so basically none of the countries that people are migrating from en masse.

The same is true of the UK, net migration is "only" somewhere around 500k (immigration at over 1 million).
SOme real irony here - the main reason a higher proportion migrate out of Germany (et al) compared to the UK is because they can, due to open borders within the EU. Brexit inadvertently actually "traps" migrants in the UK once they're here... because of all the red tape involved in leaving.

Let's not start pretending that Brexit voters are bothered about white European migrants Parmy, we're all too old and cynical to believe that.
