Do a LinkedIn profile. The recruiters come to you.

Indeed aggregate jobs from other sites and get high numbers of new roles every day. Have you registered with agencies? LinkedIn is quite good but they do tend to be higher levels roles on there. CV library is worth putting your CV on. Make sure your CV looks good and has no errors etc and is concise

Yeah ,I'm more or less already signed up with most of those....so much so ,I even get spammed with random irrelevant jobs that aren't even in my vicinity, which is annoying at times:rolleyes: .

The only thing I would add it’s easy to get a crap job
My sister is just about to start a new job after being in one for 11 years was over looked for promotion even though she was doing the job they hired someone else to do

My two nieces are working for a dentist
The older one left Waitrose to go there and now her sister who is sixteen has started there

I also have an older friend that has found getting a job very frustrating and depressing

Going for 4 stage interviews travelling miles only to get a no

Once they use you
they find out how good you are
and keep you in work.

For hospo jobs check hospitalityjobsuk. :)

If your’re not fussed what the job is, look at contact centre’s/complaint department roles for companies. They tend to always be recruiting.

…there are also job fairs, I don’t know if there’s anything like that coming up in an area that you’re able to get to, GoldHeart…I wish you good luck in your search and hope that you find that vacancy that you’re looking to fill……

Can you do support-work?

I've browsed some roles, but it's not the main jobs I'm looking for. But who knows... maybe I should give it a try .

Just make sure to cover your back at all times in roles like that. HR really haven’t got your back in support work/care. Unless you’re NHS-protected.

But all-in-all it’s better than nothing. A job is a job.
