I noticed that yes. Appalling.
I was worried a bit at first because I thought they'd got my phone number from when we tried to use a carpark in Bury when we went to the Train Gala event and you had to pay by phone but I hung up when they asked for bank details and we went and parked elsewhere. We were only there a minute though.

You’d get a letter not a text.

Every PCN I’ve ever had has been sent to me by post and there’s been a reference number on the letter, that you can use on the website that shows cctv evidence of you committing whatever offence it is they’re charging you for.
They’d never send one of these by text so it’s defo a scam

100% scam
It's even more hilarious when non driver's get these texts about their 'vehicle' .

These have been going about - some with a "government" website attached for you to put in your reg number. You can put literally any word in the box and it'll tell you that you owe them £20 lol.

Oh I know, I was just worried with being with Karl in his car in case they'd taken a photo of it in the couple of minutes we were there and they had my phone number. Silly me really. I've obviously not heard anything further. I wasn't gonna put bank details on an automated phone service so I hung up.
