Mystic Mock. Very engaging. Talks a lot of sense. Seems very intellectual. I think we're on the same wavelength most of the time. I like the attitude and impartiality. Honest. Stands by their convictions but isn't afraid to learn about other people's opinions.

It's not too bad technologically-speaking to watch from the US. I use Hola VPN's desktop app. The sacrifice is I give a little bit of bandwidth for others to use my American bandwidth so they can connect also, which I'm on a fiber connection. Otherwise it allows me to watch for free... I'm sure there's some limitation as far as how much I can watch, but I've not hit that limit just watching the live show, live feed and rewatching any episodes I may need to rewatch... it works really well and have had zero issues with it since discovering that method.


In some ways, it's more convenient for me that it's midday. So about 2-3pm... we're off from each other about an hour for about a week as we do our daylight savings on different dates. If it were in "real time" 9-10pm here, I'd really struggle. I'm usually tired by 7-8 these days with my current schedule... :laugh:

The nice thing locally about being in Central time is most late evening shows are an hour earlier than in the Eastern timezone, so I get to enjoy the best stuff a bit earlier :love: ... that's a real perk for me.. and shows like the Bachelor/DWTS would be even earlier than that so we used to enjoy a late dinner with the family while getting our daily dose of drama... I'm allergic to drama and OTT nonsense in my real life, so this is my vitamin/supplemental fix...

Do you watch any of the Bravo shows Maru? I'm a sucker for VPR, RHOBH, Summer House etc :laugh:

I usually watch shows that other people watch, if that makes sense. Like Bachelor/DWTS has a big following. My grandmother used to love that show when she was with us and it was crazy to follow it with the age divide. Like imagine having conversations with the elderly about which Bachelor is the best/least impressive... The same thing with DWTS, it's very accessible to a wide audience here.

I don't have cable anymore as I'd dropped it years ago, but when I did watch Bravo, TLC, etc it was whatever was on. I liked to watch Storage Wars, for some unknown reason when it was on... probably because it was something husband & I could get into.

The only shows I liked to really watch by myself were "personality" shows, so if I liked a certain celebrity, I might watch them... especially if they were into some kookie stuff, like an odd religion, etc.

Mystic Mock - I feel like they focus on different things at a time and not just whatever BB wants us to focus on. Like they have their own way of enjoying the show and ruminating through odds and ends around the main topics. That makes their commentary more insightful to me since it's like they're pursuing some of notable, but easily forgotten side quests that often contain massive nuggetary info that could complement the overall story ...while we're all stuck on the amusement park ride following the main quest. Also, I hope that with this nomination, their sore throat is mystically cured.

Kate! - For working very hard on keeping up engagement in Marcello's Temple of Shocks & Horrors (non-BDSM, we hope)

vesavius - For making engaging threads, and generally speaking, not being shy about any of views they share, whilst still being able to listening to opposing views. That's not easy to do.

…strangely I think Oi! Oi! Oi! Can be more of an anger expression in some languages rather than a brightening up one…but it does have that ‘rousing’ kind of impact also of brightening up a vibe…and keeping that vibe I’ll do my own nominations now…

Ok. Let's get a perspective on the "Oi's!"

We can do "Oi! Oi! Oi! Saveloy!" Which is actually a term of endearment for something you like. Just in a boisterous way.

"Oi! Oi!" is like saying hello.

"Oi!" effectively means recognition. As in...

"Oi! Oi! Here they are".

"Oi!" on it's own means "you" and might be quite negative. As in "Oi! Idiot"!
