Burial or cremation? If cremation the what do you want doing with your ashes?

I want to be cremated. And my ashes scattered in the Irish Sea.

Bloody hell. Two threads to do with death today. How cheery. But I'd be cremated. I'd like to do the pure cremation so it's cheaper for my family then hope they would all have one hell of an amazing party afterwards to a playlist that I have made of songs I have a special connection to or have loved all my life. I know people will be sad but I want my life to be celebrated. I want my ashes scattered in a theme park. They are my happy place.

I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered by the sea in Spain I have already told Mr C and my boys where and given the exact spot so there is no wondering, I think everyone young and old should have their wishes known as it takes the stress of doing the right thing off the family, Mr C doesnt care about being buried or cremated so I told him he would be cremated and scattered with me, we will then have a little plaque put on mine and his Mum and Dads grave indicating where our final remains are... :laugh:

Ideally, I’d like to be buried, but for financial reasons cremation is much more likely. As a compromise, I think ashes can be buried in areas designed for woodland burials, and I like the idea of resting forever in the peace and tranquility of a natural landscape, forever surrounded by birdsong.

My more wacky and humorous side has always had the urge to have the lengthiest of my outrageously long fingers buried in an antique tomb shaped box I have, with the inscription, ‘Here lieth the finger of…..’ with my name and dates! My fingers have been the butt of great amusement in life, and my sense of humour would like them to continue to do so long after I have gone! It also amuses me to think of the bafflement and speculation it would cause if discovered in a few hundreds years time!

Guess these two ideas show the main features of my personality.
