For me I’m with Sarah. I find Lily overbearing, loud and shriek which would really do my head in when you can’t escape it.

I’d side with Sarah. I don’t wanna be too harsh with Lily she probably is a nice girl when she eventually calms down a bit but atm she’s very overwhelming to be around.

Now I've had time to reflect I don't think Sarah is lesser of the 2 evils. She seeks attention in a different way by turning on the waterworks. I find her cunning and self absorbed. I think she's gonna be a stirrer and a drama queen.

Like I said I'm not a fan of either ,but I'm on the same page as her regarding Lily. I think Sarah will continue to cry ...and probably be the first to threaten to leave,which is off putting aswell.

If Lily is like that all the time then I'm definitely on Sarah's side, I can't deal with loud, OTT people 24-7.

It could be that Lily is just over-excited as it's the first night, but if it continues, then it would drive me mad living with her.

For me, Lily has no depth to her. I know she's only 20 but come on.. First impressions are telling me she hasn't got much to offer and there's no way she's going to sail through the series by being loud and annoying. She's already peeing others off. Who just starts counting randomly? Who takes an iPad to a nightclub? She's off the wall. Have a purge night BB. Obviously spoilt and her ambition is to keep working at the Chinese Takeaway forever and ever and ever...

Watching this show over the years, it's very easy to forget how overwhelming an experience all this must actually be for a lot of the housemates (or non-housemates, as the case may be :laugh:). And for that reason, despite me usually being so easily annoyed by the overly sensitive types in today's day and age, Sarah's display of humility and vulnerability made me sympathise with her.

Niamh hit the nail on the head when she said in another thread that Lily is gorgeous until she actually opens her mouth and starts talking haha. It's rare that you see someone over the age of 7 who's so childishly eager to display their ignorance and loutishness. :joker:

EDIT - Btw, did anyone else notice how far Lily sat away from Sarah when she had to go sit on the same bench? Bizarrely instinctive dislike from her.

She's actually worse than Olivia, all I know about Lily is she loves working in a takeaway place....and eats free salt & pepper chips . And she wants to keep working there till she's a old grandma or something . She just screams and makes silly noises like a small child with ADHD and sugar addiction.

I know it's early days,but if she continues like this ..then there's really nothing left for her to give us ,apart from shrieking and dizzy behaviour. She made Dean look normal last night , that's how bad it was :skull: .

I think everyone finds Lily too much but she is an excited puppy and hopefully will settle down. I feel for Sarah as the person she confided in went to the blue team but given she is back again maybe Sarah will settle down and be more calm/less emotional.

Lily only thinks about Lily that she cannot see how her shouting is having an effect. She reminds me of a spoiled brat, doesn't get the toy she wants in the shop so she screams and cries until she does. Camera on someone else...she turns it up a notch so attention is on her.

Unpopular opinion but she reminds me of Sam Thompson, ok he had ADHD & autism ......but was still annoying & exhausting , especially the lack of self awareness of other people's feelings.

They all visible look worn out & fed up of Lily's antics,but she doesn't have a care in the world,or it hasn't registered.

Sam does listen though and people found ways of dealing with his craziness. It makes me wonder if housemates are querying the ADHD/Autistic spectrum etc thing and that is why nobody has challenged the behaviour. Well apart from Emma.

Feeling excited, having fun and being lively is fine, but how many 20 year olds behave like Lily?. I feel people are making too many allowances and excuses for her. To me, this is just immense immaturity, attention-seeking and ridiculousness. I’ve seen her described as ‘just a baby’ or very young, but she isn’t a child, and she isn’t even a teenager.

Part of me feels she’s behaving this way as she loves being centre of attention, part of me thinks she’s been spoiled and never taught to have any self-control and part of me feels she’s trying to present as a combination of all the most successful characters of previous series. I can’t decide which, but I find her silly rather than entertaining. Despite being loud and lively last year, Olivia did have some depth and reasoning power.

I’m not a massive fan of Sarah but, of the two, I’d have to pick her over Lily!
