I thought this was meant to be them being tough this year?
The punishments for rule breaks have been soft and the tasks easy.

I said this earlier. Lily has had three nom rule breaks now and got put out in jail for her 3rd warning.
Yinrun had her nominations voided last year after only her 2nd time.

That was such a bullshit punishment for Yin last year... But, yep, they are going easy on them.

The punishments are rubbish. They should each have to roll a giant dice and if it lands on
1- No hot water for all the house
2- Removing of all personal items of that person who broke the rules
3- Removing someone else's personal items
4- Unable to nominate
5- Have to pick another housemate to join the next eviction
6- Evicted automatically from the house

They broke 51 rules on the first task. Has there ever been a higher number.

I was raging at Yinrun’s punishment at the time.
…yeah, we were saying that yesterday how it’s a mellow BB atm and it’s only a 6 week season so we need some evil or some strict PUNISHMENTS….the jail thing is just so old and tired anyway for me…but also the housemates know that it’s more or less a guaranteed airtime having that walk of shame so they don’t feel that shame …they often just go out and repeat their crimes again…this is such a bad house for remembering that one basic rule of no nomination talk so BB should give no leeway anymore and anyone breaking the rule is automatically up for eviction or has their nominations taken away for the following week…

…it’s a life experience that’s part of what made her what she is today……and a humbling reminder that we’re all mere ants in the world…

You just can't get away with it on a level previously seen.
There's too much EDI, Health & Safety, Human Rights.
There should be exceptions as you know what you're signing up for.
Big Brother also has to balance their mental health and doesn't want mass walkouts
It's a fine tuning balance

BB should ban Lily from voting or out her up every week for eviction ! . Remember in BB7 wasn't Imogen banned every week from nominating ,due to so many rules she broke.

Imogen was super bland that was a positive for her not a negative imo.

As decent as the line-up is this year, they don’t have a Victor Ebuwa.
