I thought Marcello was probably correct when he said that Ali has a negative view of people, I do think that is a flaw of hers, but his chat in the diary room at the start of the episode boiled down to: Ali will make me feel uncomfortable constantly talking about sex so I don't want her here.

Rather than caring that him constantly talking in a sexual nature makes others feel uncomfortable. It's very entitled and he said something similar earlier in the series when Ali called him out for lying about them kissing in the smoking area. I'm not sure why he thinks he shouldn't be called out for making women feel uncomfortable for his vulgar discussion.

But she may be wrong? The others - who I think are limited to Dean, Lily and Martha, who are all close to Ali - may be wrong?

The likes of Emma, Nathan (seemingly), Rosie, Hannah, Sarah, Thomas, Segun and Hanah don't seem to think he is fake. You could believe them instead.

It's all down to opinion rather than fact. Yet that's not how it's delivered.

It's interesting to me that Ali is branding herself as the one who is "real" and says it how it is, even though she has called several people in the house fake behind their backs without ever going to their face and telling them how she feels. It's a pretty good game plan though because most people in there think she's on their side without knowing they are probably next on her list.
