why does everyone want brian to win

I know brian is entertaining, and innocently funny. but why is that the british public always want the stupid (no offence to brian) or rather dim people to win?

I don't want him to win at all. I don't like him. His act doesn't wash with me. He is a nice guy. But I find him fake and irrateing.

I think they want him to win by process of elimitation really.

There are the boring HMS(Tracey, Nicky, Carole, Gerry)
the fake relationship(chanelle, ziggy)
the twin act, that frankly will wear thiner and thiner as time goes by
Liam (who is nice, but boring as well and he already won the money)
And then there is Charley, who lets face it a lot of people just hate her.
So you are left with Brian, who is good natured and fun, but doesnt smile 24 hrs a day like the twins, and actually have some deep conversations. He is not dumb, if anything he might be uninformed and naive. So he is the logical one by far compared to the lot of HMS we have this year. Just my opinion

I'm sorry but anyone who dosent know who shakespeare is, is dumb (either that or he's being fake). Even if you only went to school till the age of 14 you'l still know who shakespeare is!

I'm sure that the British public enjoy his optimistic personality. He's naive, yes, but the innocence of him makes him likable. For example, when he found out that Pauline was fake, he was disappointed. Carole is always suspicious which doesn't really provide for quality entertainment. The twists that Big Brother throws aren't entertaining unless they actually work, and Brian is a character that will believe it and help us enjoy the show even more.

So true Brian is cool. I didnt buy his Shakespere bit, but he amde it soud really funny, so I am willing to play along with it. And yes his facial expressions, when he is stunned by something, are priceless!

I think the thing that makes Brian stand out is the fact he's a genuine person who's not afraid to show emotion and honesty. People have been on his back about this tendency to play a 'character', that he pretends to be more stupid than he really is, but with him being on a TV show I think it's great that he's making an effort to be entertaining. I applaud him for it. The reason I like him is because when he's not busy having fun for the cameras with his daft act he talks to his housemates with respect and always tries to keep things jovial and kind, if there's ever a conversation involving attacks on other HMs he's rarely, if ever, seen joining in the attack and is more likely to defend the person in question. For all the talk about Brian being thick, he did score high points for 'emotional intelligence' on Big Brother's tests and he proves it whenever he's put to task by someone, especially Big Brother. He never shys from a question, he elaborates his thoughts and whenever someone tries to undermine him he stands up for himself and questions their incentive without any self doubt. The man knows himself and he knows his weaknesses and personally, I think he's got more strengths than most of the others. He's a good housemate, a good person and would be a worthy winner.

Sick of all the "gameplan" rubbish. Some people have a gameplan and maybe they are a bit fake but SO WHAT! Big brother is a game! are people forgettin that. its a tv programme and tv programmes are there to keep us entertained.

there are thousands of people in britain with a "heart of gold" who are nice, genuine people for cryin out loud but at the end of the day that doesnt make entertainment.

Fake, "legallyblonde/meangirlsetc, dumb and so on.whatever! if its entertainin and not annoyin or offensive im lovin it!

A lot of people can be "nice but it takes someone special to be entertainin

I was one of the people that said they were so fake, but the more time goes by the more I think that its actually genuine nice people./
