I thought one of the fundamental rules of Big Brother was that no books are allowed in the house?

If I recall correctly they are allowed to bring in bibles too, if they want.

I've seen multiple holy qurans and a holy bible. Seems fine as long as they're not using it to send messages or something.

Under the Equality Act 2010 religion is a protected characteristic.

Funny that, cause on TIBB its constantly ridiculed, and allowed to be ridiculed, along with TIBBS religious members, and the views they have because of their religions.

All other protected characteristics that are mocked are severely dealt with by TIBBS moderating team.

You can't use your religion to discriminate against people who are also protected under that same law.

You think a rapist cares who their victims are attracted to?

Freedom of expression is also a thing providing no one is being insulted because of their religion

Yeah we saw Khaled and Segun talking about the commonalities with Islam and Christianity early on but not much since then. I'd be interested to hear more about Hanah's beliefs because that's never really been shown

…because we don’t always have housemates whose faiths and beliefs are such a part of their fabric, if you like…?…it would be good to have this opportunity of those differing beliefs living in the same house…chatting with each other and sharing views and how their faith integrates with their every day lives…

That was in relation to Ali saying the three at the top had no use for a lesbian woman

Which highlights Ali is the real ignorant bigot if anything ,to even come out with something that narrow-minded. She also needs to humble herself, not every man wants to get her into bed ... just like I'm sure not every woman would hit on her .

You could bring books pre BB5, they banned it after BB4 when half the time they were reading in the day.

Bibles and Quran have always been allowed.

They were allowed instruments too. Not sure what year that stopped (maybe after BB2) but Anna often played her guitar and they made up songs in BB1.

Pretty sure Dean and Bubble had instruments so yes maybe from bb3 onwards it was stopped.

Not always, I'm sure Davina said in BB6 that Makosi or someone got their Bible confiscated.

But I'm glad they've allowed Bible's & Qurans now , as it was silly they were ever banned.

First printed in 1952, the King James Version Longprimer Bible is a traditional double-
column reference setting of the Authorized Version. Developed by Oxford University
Press and now published exclusively by R. L. Allan

The first King James Bible was published in 1611. Noted for its "majesty of style", the
King James Version has been described as one of the most important books in English
culture and a driving force in the shaping of the English-speaking world.
