View Full Version : How will Khaled react to Emma labelling him fake?

Calm? Upset? Angry? Betrayed?

I think this is the reveal I'm most intrigued about. Martha will no doubt go down the woe is me route, Ali will shrug it off and perhaps bring up the Red Witch again, I reckon Thomas will sigh and say something like, "That's fair" but I'm not sure about Khaled. Him and Emma have always appeared quite close so think it could be a surprise. Maybe not just to him but the rest of the house too.

They aren't close. I don't think he'll be bothered?

From the live feed, they've always struck me as close. Closer than Emma appears to be to Lily or Hanah, for example. Maybe even Segun.

Oh ok. But he's not one to take things personally.

I don’t think they’ll know Emma’s reasoning for putting them up, so he probably won’t know she said that specifically. Emma does typically come across as being fond of Khaled, so I do think he’ll be surprised and a little hurt. But he probably won’t express it

Maybe. Maybe not. There was one conversation from maybe a week or so ago from the live feed which makes me wonder about this one though.

Khaled and Emma were speaking on the garden sofas. I think there was another HM there but I cannot recall who. Khaled was opening up about his youth, and how he struggled with managing his behaviour, lashing out without thinking, reacting without consideration, and the work he had to do on himself to change this as he was on the wrong path. It may explain why he acts the way he does in the house and, if he hasn't explained it to others, why they may have a certain perception of him. But he did say it to Emma. So for her to bring up the fake allegation may impact him more than the rest.

Yeah, they never revealed what the HoH's said while nominating in the past so i doubt they would now

True, the producers love to stir. And this would be the perfect opportunity to do so as Emma was quite open in the basement with her reasoning. But perhaps they'll just get Emma to announce the names face to face, as per before.

I do think that Emma was a little bad for going for Khaled, since they do get along to some extent.

Unlike Emma's strong dislike of Lily.

He'll probably just take it on the chin , he's had it from Ali already. And I think Emma used a bit of a cop out reason anyway.... just to even the playing field between the 2 groups.

She was talking a bit to Thomas but still nominated
him,due to the fact she'd miss him the least.

Someone in the audience on L& L audience made a good point about Martha & Khaled.Martha is a people pleaser for herself , whereas Khaled is a people pleaser as he wants everyone to just get on .

I wonder if he wanted to talk to Hanah when he saw she was upset, but didn't want to intrude when she walked upstairs with Ali . I don't think Khaled forces it ....whereas Martha tries too hard for reconciliations.

One of the small things we saw from the live feed on Monday night was Khaled and Hanah chatting in the bedroom, with him giving her a hug.

He is close to Hanah, I thought Will was a bit dense on L& L the way he accused the boys of " not backing Hanah" ,erm I'm pretty sure they all wanted her in the race for HOH :conf::shrug:. It was Sarah who didn't fight for her.

in the past, the hoh had to stand up and explain their reasoning for what they did to all the hm's

I doubt she'll call him fake to his face though if she has to do that, she can reword her reasons to be softer

Trying to think back, only the 'living' housemates could vote? Khaled was already 'dead'; I think Marcello and Segun had also been taken out too?

No I'm sure this was before the crow farce ,so Segun etc definitely backed Hanah .

No they hadn't, they voted for Hanah, there were 6 living HMs voting Emma, BP and Lily had picked Nathan so Sarah's was the deciding vote and she choose Nathan, it would have been deadlocked if she hadn't (actually Lily voted Ali and they told her she can't because she's already been HoH, I can't remember if she even said Nathan) either way Sarah's was the deciding vote

Thank you. I think it perhaps shows the narrative Late and Live are trying to push, and have done so from the start of the series.

Yeah Lily voted Nathan ,when they told her she can't choose Ali.

Thank you - so there was a clear male/female split between the two and none of the females voted for Hanah, which is when she became emotional about the lack of female bond in the house.

Sure and I get why she was upset but BP and Emma were obviously going to pick Nathan, that was a given. She may have got their votes against a different HM

Sarah's vote seemed to affect her far more than Emma or Rosie's.

Yeah I think probably because she knew that BP and Emma would choose Nathan as their first choice no matter who was against him, he's Emma's BFF and BP's BF so Sarah was the only one of the 3 who could have realistically chosen her over him
