I feel the series would do much better with more time. There’s still 11 housemates and only 2 weeks. Also I like when late entrants change dynamics.

I also feel the show has lost its authenticity, excitement and buzz. I wish it could go back to the exciting Ch4 days. Shows like BBLB, an official website with housemates images scrolling, lots of fan sites, I miss old BB :( /rant

Me too, I think next series should be extended at least 2 weeks and we should get some late entry housemates around week 3…ish.

Yeah i miss late entrants, they could have still technically done it this series if they just started with 12 or 14

And don’t even start with the Channel 4 days, makes me wanna cry that we’ll never have that vibe again.. 2002-2007 was PEAK BB

6 weeks is about right for me tbh, it's a big investment to watch a nightly show for that long and audiences always dip towards the end. I also think late entrants get an unfair advantage

They could do more to promote the show during the week though. The app is awful, they should be posting mini snippets of house action on there throughout the day

I disagree with the unfair advantage. Only 2 late entrants have ever won the series. If anything it’s unlikely they would win.

I do feel like this series could’ve benefited from being a bit longer as there are so many housemates still. I don’t think this series would’ve needed any late entrants but I think an 8 or 9 week run would’ve been better.

Tbf those are still better odds of winning than entering on day 1

I also think it just goes against the fundamental principles of the show

get rid of dead wood like Thomas and stop evicting interesting characters like Dean

It’s a big investment and I am not sure I would watch more than 8 weeks. I am an old soul who likes to limit screen time before bed and goes to sleep at 10pm so a lot of the time I watch in the morning. Not sure I could keep up that routine for 10-13 weeks.

Honestly I kind of love the no late entrants thing?

I wouldn't mind them putting back up to 10 weeks again.

13 was too long imo, so I wouldn't want that back.

I'd be happy with eight weeks but I hate late entrants. They know too much about the outside world. The one thing I like about the ITV version is a lack of them up to now.

I do agree, they need to be much better with social media, posting clips on YouTube/the app throughout the day from the house, and a website would be good too.

While I am having a good time with this season, I do agree on the whole. The length of the season especially... I feel like it's only just getting going and we are coming to the end.

The core of the problem for me though is in the shorter edits that they now stitch together to create the show. If you look back at seasons like BB4 each edit was much longer and gave much more context was given. Situations and dynamics were allowed to breath. Now it's all chopped into tiny snippets from all over the 24 hours and stitched together to form a false timeline. We won't even get into the digital visual and audio manipulation that clearly now goes on.

TBC, I know this was all happening under C5 as well, so it's not just a problem of the ITV era. I just miss old BB as well, and it's not just nostalgia... The show was put together very differently in it's golden years.

I feel it should definitely be extended to at least 8 weeks . We’ve got 2 weeks left with 11 housemates still in which just feels weird .

Later housemates always switch things up and that is always a fun dynamic to see as people are suspect about them from the get go. I would like 2 more weeks and at least 3 new housemates added.

A secret room where two housemates get voted into with 3 new ones would be a good twist.

If it was a much longer run ,it may have worked having late entrants. And I think they should try 8 weeks next time...but scrap the HOH rubbish.
