Oh god. Glad it's over and her children are safe.

Hope it's not over drugs otherwise she'll never forgive herself for putting her child through that.

From The Sun

FORMER Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona and her baby daughter were held captive at their home by three armed burglars today.

The 26-year-old singer, her husband Mark Croft, 36, and five-month-old daughter Heidi were attacked at around midnight at their home in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

The masked gang, armed with a sledgehammer, crowbar and large kitchen knife, held Ms Katona and her daughter in a downstairs room while her husband was taken through the house by raiders.

The family were left unharmed but the robbers escaped with their blue BMW and numerous valuable items.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said the family were left “extremely alarmed” by the ordeal, but were unharmed.

The family managed to free themselves at around 12.30am and contacted police.

A police spokesman said: “Shortly before midnight, Mark Croft, 36, his wife, Kerry Katona, 26, and their young baby, Heidi, who was five months old, were confronted in their home by three masked men.

“All the intruders were wearing balaclavas and they were armed with a
sledgehammer, crowbar and large knife similar to a kitchen knife.

“This experience was extremely alarming to the family.

“One of the offenders remained in a downstairs room with the mother and baby while the other two offenders made Mr Croft accompany them through the house while they identified property to steal.”

The robbers took Mr Croft back to his family before locking the trio in a room.

The raiders then stole around £100,000-worth of goods, including the couple’s blue BMW M5, two laptop computers and jewellery.

The couple managed to free themselves from the room at around 12.30am and alerted police.

The Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “They were not harmed but were left shaken by their ordeal.”

PR guru Max Clifford, who represents Katona, said he spoke to Mr Croft, who told him his wife was “in a dreadful state” after the “horrible experience” of having a knife held to her throat by one of the intruders.

He told Sky News that the couple did have CCTV cameras covering the house, but the three men wore balaclavas and so would be hard to identify.

“I think one of them was holding a knife to Kerry’s throat while the other two were running around the house picking up everything they could, all the valuables that they could,” he said.

Sky's Mike McCarthy went to the house in Cheshire where he said: "Unfortunately the family were not able to give a detailed description of the burglars.

"They were hampered by the fact that these men were wearing balaclavas."

Clifford added: "Kerry is in a terrible state. When I spoke to her this morning she was in floods of tears and absolutely distraught.

"It was a terrifying experience. Luckily they weren't hurt, but Kerry was held at knifepoint and the robbers threatened to kill them. It was such a horrible thing to happen."

Neighbour Ann Pater told Sky: "We are very shocked. It makes you very nervous, especially as it happened to us a year ago when they came in and stole our car.

"We don't see much of Kerry, she keeps a very low profile."

Katona's two daughters by former Westlife star Brian McFadden were not in the house at the time of the burglary.

Cheshire Police want to speak to anyone who has seen the blue BMW that was stolen, registration MF06 KMM

She hardly deserved it just cos she's a public figure. She has a 4 month old child and had a knife 1cm away from her neck, I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemies.

People like you make me disgusted that I'm british sometimes.

What a vile, and awful post to write. If your family was in the same situation, I would be stunned if someone said 'I couldn't care less'.

Aww I'm not a fan but she does NOT deserve to be held at knife point with her baby there.
i hope she recovers from this.

No they're not, but how does that explain that she deserves it?

Just because you're not starving in Ethiopia does that mean you deserve to die?

Lauren, did i spefically say she deserves it?

No but "thats what you get" connotes a certain amount of deserving.

Edit: And now, Sir Rex, you have edited your post.
