…I watched Last Christmas again this afternoon, it’s such an emotional /bittersweet story…not only because of the characters and plot but also with the George Michael soundtrack as well…:lovedup:…8/10 and a recommend…very likeable cast also and a lovely appearance by Andrew Ridgeley…

I always watch both “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” every Christmas, usually Christmas Eve night once I’ve done all of my wrapping and can just chill with a hot drink and some snacks before bed and the mania that is Christmas/Boxing Day.

It’s such a great film, I wish they hadn’t basically given away the whole plot with the trailer when it first released but I still loved it.

Really enjoyed Hot Frosty, thanks Ammi. Myself and Luke watched Polar express after as well (well we both managed to stay awake for the first half of it anyway :laugh: ) Love that movie though

It's a Wonderful Life is my top Christmas film, closely followed by Scrooge starring Alistair Sim. :)

Don't make the mistake of watching the falsely colored versions. They're a lot better in their original black and white form. :)

…I watched The Merry Gentlemen …on Netflix, I think it was…another very Christmassy US small town filled with wonderful people and great Christmas spirit etc…a Broadway dancer goes back home and puts on a show to save her parent’s nightclub/venue…an all male dancing/full Monty type show with the local guys who just happen to look as though they’d spent 75years in the gym while going about their small town business etc…I soldiered through, it wasn’t too bad at all, actually…full of festive cuteness…

It is disgraceful for firms like Amazon Prime and Apple to ask their subscribers to pay extra for some things ..

We pay Sky over a £100 per month and they occasionally have Pay Extra per View fights

…I watched Spirited……it’s the first time I’ve seen it …the English accents were probably on a level with Mary Poppins and Dick Van Dyke but that just added a little to the charm, I liked it…even Ryan Reynolds couldn’t take that away…7/10….a nice Christmas feel good movie and lovely to watch one that I hadn’t seen before…
