I have listened to alot of opinions on why the Dems did so badly and the stand out for me is (a) they didn't focus on economy and how they would make people better off, and (b) and celebrity backers who have far too much money and dont really know how people are struggling, think Harris surrounded herself with far too many luvvies instead of concentrating on your ordinary every day voter

Todays politics demands that politicians engage with voters at their own level. The dems are full of career politicians that talk about every subject except those that really matter. Telling someone that the economy is great when inflation has crippled and is still crippling millions is insulting. Telling americans that giving billions to a country in wealthy europe is the right thing to do, when the vast majority of americans will never leave america just doesn't resonate. There are 100 other reasons, those are just the basics :laugh:
