My best friend at school went to New Zealand when we were in 4th year.
Another friend went to New Zealand when we were in our 20s, lived there for 15 years and then came back.
I have lots of friends in the States from when I worked there but they lived there any way so it was me who moved back here.

My best friend from primary moved from east London to Corringham, Essex - about 20 miles away - when we were about ten. It felt like she'd gone to Mars, I was inconsolable for aaages.

Wow !!

Get yourself abroad and settle down with one of them !!

This place is sadly broken beyond repair …

My old neighbour is 86 and hasn’t got long to live .. ( he was given 4 months about 7 months ago ) and he says he doesn’t want to be around when the race wars start !!

Honestly I don’t even know what I would count it as. I’ve spent more of my life over here in the states than I have back in England

And saying that is weird because I was actually born in Scotland so I’ve never really stayed where I was born

I’m a foreigner no matter where I go!

And yet, I always see you as an English girl in the USA. Turns out you're Scottish! I'm so confused...

My Uncle emigrated many years ago to Australia and my Cousins obviously live there. 2 of my nephews have now settled there.

I sometimes wish I had done the same thing. However family kept me here..but family ties can break down so my advice to anyone is to live YOUR life...you are only here once.

I have considered leaving the UK
Ever since I was about 9 I've wanted to be an MP.
However never have I been more disillusioned now with politics across the board so that dream may well be shattered.

I never agreed with leaving the EU either.

My late Mum and I felt a move to the Republic of Ireland was where we'd love to go as my Mum was Irish.
I have a property there and it may very well be that I make the decision to move there permanently still.

However despite all those I have in other Countries, for me Scotland or the Republic of Ireland is where I'd love to spend my life.
However with the Republic of Ireland still in the EU too then it is the strongest attraction to me moving there.

I did. I miss Italy. I'm planning to go back there when I retire.
