…have I missed something or was yesterday the first time that we were seeing/shown what other housemates seem to be totally familiar with because of their frequency…?…this is surely a huge part of showing the anxieties that Ali must have felt in there with how those anxieties are projecting in her dreams…and yet, it’s felt entirely focused on ‘red witch Ali’…with very little balance shown of vulnerability and fragility…

Yes it seems that conversation has been dismissed by some who only want to get at her and only see negatives to her.

That's a fault in general society. People feel the need to live up to certain expectations for fear of non-acceptance or being shunned. Sometimes certain events in your life change your mindset. Obviously I can't speak for Ali. Live your life how you want to live it I say. As long as you're not hurting anyone else in the process just be comfortable in yourself.

And if you can make someone else happy in that process then it's all good.

Losing a loved one is hard even harder if they have taken their own life, there will always be the questions of could you of helped prevent it or did more when they were alive

But this is the problem with the way the show has been edited. The way Emma mentioned Ali’s brother and her dreams, I don’t think this was the first time it’s happened but we haven’t been shown it cause they wanted to ram Marcello bragging about how many women he’s slept with or the awful showmance down our throats.

I personally think there is a difference between saying someone has been bitchy or has bitched and calling someone a bitch.

For example, Emma has bitched behind peoples backs more than most, which is bitchy. But I don't for a second think she is a bitch as a person.

I also think it's the simple quantity (not you specifically) but for some people 90% of their posts is saying something negative about a HM (most notably Ali) and so all in all the rhetoric and behaviour is toxic.

I wouldn't say Marcello is a predator. Some of the things he has said have been predatory (in the same way some things Ali has said have been bitchy, but I don't think she's a bitch). And I think there is the difference.

Someone's actions can resemble a certain trait but we shouldn't define that person by the limited actions and view we have of them. Marcello has made sexist and predatory comments but that doesn't make him a sexist or a predator. People talk off key, make mistakes, and are more than one behaviour trait.
