…oh wow, that was a long sneak peak…I saw it advertised yesterday on Apple when I was watching some of the new season of Bad Sisters…two great series back, is going to be a great catch up…:love:…
…that looks as though it’s flipping the storyline to outside now…not just Juliette but many out there….

First episode.
That was pretty grim at the start, with her walking through although those skeletons. ::shocked:
i felt it was a very slow first episode, i hope it picks up pace

I thought it was slow too.
Most of it was just her exploring the abandoned silo, and trying to build bridges across gaps.
The first season took it's time to get to that final scene.

Yeah, I'm loving it. Just caught up with episode 6 as back from visiting fam.
…I started to watch season 2 yesterday…I’m not loving it as much as season 1 so far but it’s still a good watch and becoming more intriguing…I think I’m on episode 4 so far…

…yeah, it’s picking up quickly, I have to say…I did a dumb thing and skipped the recap bit on the first episode and then spent most of the episode in wishing I’d had a recap…:fan:…
…I caught up with the episodes yesterday and am enjoying it more and more……I always think that it helps with a series to have that real villain character and Bernard definitely fills that …also Solo is also very intriguing…(…and sinister)…as well...…

We didn't get much of Juliet in the other Silo. That is the storyline I am most interested in.

I felt the same way when watching Teacup.

…yeah, that’s the storyline I’m most interested in as well, she’s a great character…
…and an excelling engineer…give her a safety pin or a bit of wire and she can build a bridge or whatever…that’s a very useful skill when exploring silo’s…

I think “Solo” forcing her to pump water will work in her favour as I’m sure that steel door we never got to see (only hear about) is the tunnel which connects all silos and is down the bottom. She may end going down to explore rather than up if something happens when pumping.

I had a feeling Solo wasn’t in there alone. He seemed scared of someone, the way he kept acting.

…I assume that doesn’t include all of the ‘have to pay’ movies…it’s so annoying with some streaming sites that a lot of the newer content/movies are not included in the subscriptions they charge…I get free Apple TV anyway but if I didn’t, I doubt that I would have a paid subscription…even with the series that I love on there…

…I can’t believe that an actor like Steve Zahn would be chosen to play a relatively fleeting character as we’ve seen so far with Silo and then just kill them off without that being a huge ‘fight scene’ or whatever, either…I mean, his whole thing was entombing himself from ‘unknown enemy’ so that unknown enemy finally got in and we see ….nothing…?….no…there is obviously a huge back story involving him and why he’s felt he had to protect himself …is he an ‘innocent’ protecting himself from some kind of aggressors or is he/was he an aggressor protecting himself from innocents…?… he’s a great character but he’s very sinister so atm, I’m thinking that he’s played some part in being a villain which is why he’s had to lock himself away…’the strangers’ obviously don’t know Juliette so atm she’s the enemy also…

No, I think he’s injured but still alive and being held captive. The others need something from him I reckon and have been trying to get into him for a while, and he’s assumed they’re all dead and finally safe to go out.

The whole thing is very slow.
I am still persevering, but it's not exactly an easy follow and is often very slow.

I did think the last episode was treading water a bit... literally also.
No, I think he’s injured but still alive and being held captive. The others need something from him I reckon and have been trying to get into him for a while, and he’s assumed they’re all dead and finally safe to go out.
I reckon they are trying to get code to enter the vault. That might have been the reason for the scene earlier where he nearly forgets it.

Oh possibly as in an earlier episode there was the chalk board with all the numbers on which looked like codes with a select few circled, which she asked Solo if they were important and he said no so she rubbed them out so she could use the board.

The show has huge potential, but its ability to create tension is lacking imo.
I haven't caught up with the last episode yet.
It is loosely based on a 'pact' made by the founding fathers however long a go we just don't know.....because the air is dangerous? Why is it dangerous? We don't know? Why was the silo created? We don't know other than to protect those from the atmosphere? How did they make the silo? It has like a billion floors...why is there more than one silo?
We're on season 2 and we still don't know much at all.
I keep watching hoping something exciting will happen.

You can hear it in the American accents some of the cast try to do. Like Juliette's father, the doctor, is Scottish. He does a kind of standard Southern drawl accent you sometimes hear from British actors.

I think I can guess some of what will happen.
My speculation is
The rebellion gathers pace but Juliette arrives back in Silo 18, and stops them doing anything stupid.
No idea what is going to happen with Lucas Kyle and the tunnel and the AI voice though.

I already know what's going to happen with Juliette because I accidentally read book spoilers a couple of years ago but I'm excited to see what happens with the tunnel!
…an excellent finale to the season …:love:…season 2 felt a bit of a slow burner st the beginning but it’s really found it’s pace with the last few episodes and leaves a lot of anticipation for season 3, which I hope there is one…
…I hope that we still have Solo/Jimmy in the storyline now that Juliette has left that silo, I love, love, love his character…(…I’m assuming that Juliette will survive the fire/furnace but I’m not sure that Bernard will…I can’t see what’s left for his character…the ending was intriguing and obviously opens up a lot of questions…Will season 3 be parts of the story told in flashback…a dirty bomb, hmmmmm…and the Pez candy dispenser was the forbidden relic from the beginning/as was the tour guide booklet or leaflet… so what connection is that political guy….

I was wondering that too.
If we will get a lot of flashbacks that show how it all started. I found the epilogue scene a bit creepy and unsettling, knowing what it apparently leads to.

14, the explosion happened. I assume Solo had told her some of the safeguard stuff but she still doesn’t know the why or who.

They made a point of saying also that the real Solo had Jimmy go to the vault so maybe she does not know Jimmy is still alive.
