I could be remembering wrong but they didn’t say that last year, they did mention about housemates changing places in the votes but I think they were referring to how close 2nd/3rd/4th was but they didn’t outright say that otherwise people would have probably given up if they knew it wasn’t really that close between 1st and 2nd.
