View Full Version : Am I the only one that thinks that it's wrong that Ali's interview was downgraded?

To the less watched L&L?
Imo the winner should be having their interview on the main Show, where most of BB's audience is actually watching the Show.
What do you guys think?
She’s been badly treated by the producers and the vast majority of the housemates for 6 weeks

I expected her outside to the fans and fireworks ending like they use to do.

How was she treated bad by producers? It was ‘The Ali Show’ from the start

Yeah I really don’t like the way they do this format. I’d say the same about any winner.

The producers have a duty of care for the
housemates- she has personal ( invisible) issues and they could have helped her out more

I think Ali and Lily show, shame they were so biased towards a few and yet others like Thomas got no screen time. Rosie said they focused on the drama and we missed out on some gold in the house from some housemates they didn't show.
Meanwhile they picked Segun's proposal to feature but ignored he did the same to 2 other housemates. BB editing and agenda has ruined things this year.

Either way all the interviews were absolute tripe.

The whole setup feels super rushed and poorly done imo. Cheap, low quality stuff.
The interviews afterwards on CH4/5 were lightyears better than this. Especially the CH4 days. The questions, the length of time, the atmosphere. Am I just imagining that they were so much longer and better? Even the best bits felt a lot longer and packed with proper highlights.
Now it's just eviction, followed by a rush to the other room for a ridiculously fast and redundant interview where they speak for 2 minutes and then show a rubbish best bits. Like wtf is that. Segun and Nathan being interviewed at the same time was poor as well.
They really need to fix this in the future but I doubt they will. It really detracts from the viewing experience for evictions and of course the final.

No we ended the series with an interview for the best housemate. Ali can stick to the spin off.
They do a lot of things on the cheap now. Shorter series, combining interviews, rushed evictions, etc.

I did like that they gave the backdoor housemates a little moment to shine on the stage part though.
I think a lot of the backdoor evictions were to avoid having to do a live stage for it.

It didn't even occur to me they were the backdoor HMs. I just thought randomly chosen wow :spin:

Yeah i just can’t get past how cheap and rushed it all feels. Totally doesn’t help that they shove 16 housemates in for a 6 week run either

Yep massively been The Ali show
If anything they treated her really well.
And even after being proved wrong about Khaled, she still isn't sorry for misjudging him :bored: .

From memory, Jordan's interview was on Late and Live last year.

I just don't think that it's fair to the winner though.
They're the people's champ, they should be getting the biggest exposure on the night imo.

I agree Mock.
In reality and I think this series has been the best since Channel 4 time.
However the highlights last night apart from Marcello exploding towards Ali.
Were overall a waste of time.
With 6 finalists and over an hour of a programme.
They could have done ALL the placings and ALL the interviews in the main show
Less highlights on the final night and concentrate on the placings.
Having said that, I'd doubt anyone who particularly wanted whoever won, that they wouldn't stick with it and watch them on Late and Live.
I do think you're right, the final show should be more about who wins.
So I'd scrap most of the highlights on the final shows and do ALL the interviews in that show.
Their thinking though is probably, they've voted for this housemate to win, so get them watching Late and Live by interviewing winners then.

They should of had less time on the the celebs i.e David Potts screaming about Lily and more time on the interviews. I didn't like that Segun and Nathan came out together, I know that they have done that in the pass but it's wrong. It was very rushed.

I agree.
I don't like them bringing 2 out virtually at the same time either.
the interview will be available online, in the app etc, so the reality is it will have a bigger audience than ITV 2
Ali was fabulous in her interview
It really couldn’t have gone any better imho

Let's face it. It's all a ploy to get you to watch L&L. 6 HM's in the final makes it far more rushed. The main show itself was around 90 minutes or so, maybe slightly longer, but that is around 15 minutes for each. All the HL's, announcements, best bits, interviews and adverts have to be crammed in. The vote was closed, reopened, closed, reopened, closed reopened... It was all so rushed. Much better with less finalists in there. 6 was too many imo. It equates to 37.5% of the original line up.
Doesn't bother me personally as I always watched both but not everyone does. And then they miss stuff.

Im not sure anyone turned off just because the tv guide said the show was over.
essentially it is just a seamless continuation of the same show, just the tv guide says its BBLL.
She had no different an interview to the others.
They should have spent more time on L&L talking to all the HM's, Ali included. Why they decided to waste so much time on the "celebrity" house guests that literally nobody cares about I have no idea...

Yeah I think if it's going to be just 6 weeks they should maybe start with 12

They did it last year...I remember thinking why are we watching the celebrity panel go back into the house. Pathetic. They could have given Nathan and Segan an individual interview rather than make them share it.
