A football .. I went through footballs like nothing on earth so I got new ones each birthday and xmas .. and regularly in between
I did get the occasional chemistry set every so often … they were bloody dangerous so I shouldn’t think they are available today..

A baby doll, all soft and cuddly, I loved that doll and yet I wasn’t at all broody or maternal until after my mid twenties.
My younger sister wouldn’t look at hers and yet craved a baby at 16.:conf:

Family time
…I recall when Tamagotchi’s were a Christmas thing…(…for children and for adults….sometimes colleagues would be caring for multiple ones at during breaks…)…and how devastating it was when was lost through negligence and bad parenting…oh and Furby’s as well needed wraparound care …..that was an extended family schedule…

I remember losing my mind when I got a Nintendo 64 for Christmas. Didn’t ask for it because I just didn’t think it was possibly but there it was.
Blue see through with two games - Pokémon Stadium and WWF No Mercy. Fantastic.
I think the same year I got an inflatable chair too, I had a blue one and my sister had a pink one. So 90’s. :joker:

Meccano was soooooooo bloody frustratingly fiddly !!
As regards Subbutio being obsessive I just collected the teams .. wasn’t too interested in playing the game ..

We had a Soda Stream but didn't use it much. I remember there was a Irn Bru flavour that was not very nice.

A cuddly Orinoco womble.
A 12 inch remote controlled Dalek. Must've been in '05 or '06 that my parents bought it for me. I loved it so much, that whenever I wasn't playing with it, I kept it in its box like it was on display in a museum.

Bike. I loved my bike...
Did it have a basket, a bell that rings, and things to make it look good?

I've got a bike with a basket now, a Peugeot that makes me look like Michelle of the Resistance... But as a kid, I'd have died first.
