Doesn't sound enough money to me.
He's got that much money, he'd probably have that amount €188,000 lying about the house as 'spare change'.

Yeah I agree, though any amount would not be enough, I think maybe for her the guilty verdict is the real prize and the dent to his reputation....such a hard man resorting to raping and choking a woman

…it shows such an awful flawed system, really …that it’s a case that the director of prosecutions chose not to go forward with in a criminal court…and yet this civil court case speaks another language…I’m glad that Nikita Hand has been led to some kind of feeling of justice but it doesn’t change that she was assaulted twice and the second time was by a system that was designed to protect her…
He is going to APPEAL so this could drag on for years
Poor girl thought it was over

I think legal systems in all countries are still playing catchup when it comes to women who are raped. We've moved forward from a charge of rape being a property crime against the raped woman's husband... but we haven't moved as far as we should. I think this woman was very brave to bring this suit, especially as Conor McGregor has been empowered to feel untouchable. I hope on appeal she's awarded everything he owns.

And still so many people on social media say she's lying as well. The intimidation she's endured bringing this to court wouldn't be worth it imo unless it was true. I always think he comes across as an animal. Fighters usually have a bit of control, don't they? A bit of humility? He just seems like scum to me. And it's hardly surprising that this woman is having people doubt her, don't people always doubt the victim? I think she's an example to us all. You're right, what was in this for her? She risked her privacy and her whole reputation for what? Some money she hasn't got yet, and might never get? She's a bloody hero.

What also amazes me is how his g/f is still standing by him. They're not married but they have 4 children together so it's not like she'd be left penniless if they split up
Nikita Hand, who won civil case against Conor McGregor, had to leave home after break-in by masked men…
The Dublin woman who won €248,603 in damages from mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor in a rape civil action had to move from her home after a group of men in balaclavas broke into her house and stabbed her partner in June.
Details of the break-in and attack were disclosed early in the High Court civil action that Nikita Hand took against McGregor, claiming that he raped her in a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
The break-in could not be reported at the time as it was disclosed in court in the absence of the jury.
The Irish Times understands that the attack remains under investigation by the Garda.
Jurors heard during the trial that Ms Hand was claiming for the costs of relocating and buying a house outside the Drimnagh area, but they did not learn the reasons for this claim during the trial.
[ Conor McGregor to pay almost €250,000 damages to Nikita Hand after jury finds he assaulted her in Dublin hotelOpens in new window ]
During the trial, there was a brief reference by Ms Hand’s doctor, Frank Clarke, who testified that she moved away from the area because of “something that happened”.
The lawyer for Ms Hand, Ray Boland SC, told the court on the first day of the trial, in the absence of the jury, that on the night of June 14th, 2024, Ms Hand’s home was “invaded” by a group of masked men who burst into her bedroom, but were “put off” by her partner who suffered stab wounds.
Mr Boland said her side were not saying that Mr McGregor had anything to do with the incident, but that it was “a targeted attack and arose from supporters of him”, and related to Ms Hand’s claim she had to move from the Drimnagh area as a result of her case against him.
Remy Farrell SC, for Mr McGregor, said the claim of entitlement to special damages over having to move house was “novel”. It seemed Ms Hand was acknowledging the incident in June had nothing to do with his client and it was “extraordinary to try to smuggle such a claim into the case”.
[ Nikita Hand feels ‘vindicated’ after ‘nightmare’ civil trial for assault against Conor McGregorOpens in new window ]
Mr Justice Alexander Owens said the matter was “completely and utterly irrelevant” and should not be put to the jury.
In evidence during the High Court case, Ms Hand expressed unease about continuing to live in Drimnagh and that she no longer lived in a house in the south Dublin suburb, valued at €430,000, which she bought with her former partner before the assault.

Mr. Owens is very bad at his job.
Major retailers in UK and Ireland pull products associated with Conor McGregor…
Major retailers across the UK and Ireland are to stop selling alcoholic drinks associated with Irish fighter Conor McGregor.
The decision by Tesco, Musgrave and the BWG Group came after a woman who said Mr McGregor raped her won a civil claim for damages against him.
Nikita Hand, who accused the sportsman of raping her in a Dublin hotel in December 2018, won her claim against him for damages in a case at the High Court in the Irish capital.
In a statement, a spokesman for Musgrave said: “Musgrave can confirm these products are no longer available to our store network.”
The network includes SuperValu, Centra, Daybreak and Mace.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we are removing Proper No Twelve Whiskey from sale in Tesco stores and online.”
A spokesperson for BWG Group said: “The products are no longer listed for distribution across our network of Spar, Eurospar, Mace, Londis and XL stores, including Appleby Westward which operates over 300 Spar stores in the south west of England.”
It is understood that other retail outlets including Costcutter and Carry Out will also stop stocking products linked to Mr McGregor.
He and some of his business partners sold their majority stake in the Proper Number Twelve Irish whiskey brand.
He was reported to have been paid more than £103 million from the sale to Proximo Spirits in 2021.
On Monday, a popular video game developer decided to pull content featuring the MMA fighter.
The Irish athlete has featured in multiple video games, including voice-acting a character bearing his likeness in additional downloadable content in the Hitman series.
Mr McGregor’s character featured as a target for the player-controlled assassin in the game.
IO Interactive, the Danish developer and publisher of Hitman, said in a statement: “In light of the recent court ruling regarding Conor McGregor, IO Interactive has made the decision to cease its collaboration with the athlete, effective immediately.
“We take this matter very seriously and cannot ignore its implications.
“Consequently, we will begin removing all content featuring Mr McGregor from our storefronts starting today.”
Last Friday, the High Court jury awarded damages amounting to 248,603.60 euros (around £206,000) to Ms Hand.
Mr McGregor made no comment as he left court but later posted on social media that he intended to appeal against the decision.
…it might have seemed like a relatively low impact on the Connor McGregor worth ….but there is little doubt that the reality will not be ‘low’ at all…

Not sure if it's flaw or design, following some high profile cases things like what underwear the victim was wearing at the time..what positions she has had sex in previously and other stuff like that is used as 'evidence' that no rape took place. The system is utterly disgusting for rape/sexual assault cases and it's well known but nothing changes.
