Toyota has announced it will no longer sponsor LGBTQ parades and events and
will no longer make efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Following Ford, Wallmart and Harley-Davidson (and HBO backing JK Rowling)

Walmart is making a slate of changes to its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)
policies, becoming the latest in a growing list of major corporations to halt the
so-called "woke" initiatives.

The company will review all funding for LGBT+ Pride events, remove all
"transgender products" marketed to children from its stores, and stop
participating in the Human Rights Council's LGBT+ equality index.

It will also stop using the terms "DEI" and "LatinX" in official communications
and stop requiring its suppliers to provide "certain demographic data" as part
of its supplier diversity program.

campaign exposing major corporations' woke policies

Stores have been cutting back on political messaging and merchandise for a while now. There was very little pandering coming from retailers during the election, so yeah a natural decision at this point... will be more telling if institutions follow up.

Remember they are all first and foremost, businesses. For a while the "woke" messaging made bank, or at least broke even.

But now, if it's not even breaking even, or getting to the point where it's actively losing more money than they deem acceptable... of course they're going to drop it like it's last season.

they are only changing their approach because they know what will play best under a trump administration. It's always been about money, and always will be
