I’m intrigued with this to see how it is. I found season 1 ok, not the greatest thing, but was watchable.

Yeah. Squid Games was way overhyped, especially when Alice in Borderland came just before it and is much better but was way overlooked.

Hmmmmm I'm not sure it'll have the freshness of the OG but I'll still 100% watch it, and I expect it'll still be above-par telly. The trailer is slightly giving "The Hunger Squid Games" though.

Only watched first ep as too tired to watch anything else tonight. So far, it’s ok. It’s more of a build up episode.

I didn't think the show needed another series but after watching the first few episodes it seems a good continuation of the first.

All 7 episodes were great, however fair warning folks, there is a "3rd and final" season coming later this year -- which because it's Netflix actually means they've filmed it all, this is a 14 episode season that they split in half to air the 2nd half later. It ends on a cliffhanger without a conclusion to the story. Like I said the 7 episodes that are available are excellent, in many ways I would say better than S1, BUT... if you are patient and actually want to binge the whole of what is actually S2... you could hold off until the next (and apparently final) part drops.

Not a huge fan of this new Netflix trend of dropping "partial" seasons. Either go back the classic style of an-episode-a-week or drop full seasons! :fist:.

I was surprised by season 2 how much I enjoyed it. But I agree with you about it being annoying splitting the season in to two.

I'm on ep 3 atm, decided to switch to subtitles, i did watch S1 dubbed but I didn't enjoy the first 2 episodes of S2 so decided to try subs instead and it does make a difference alright

I never watch dubbed. It stresses me out the talking doesn’t match the mouth movements :laugh:

Yeah, I watched in German. I know German pretty well though so that helps. :laugh:
