I found only 5 of the 13 great to be top tier. Houdini, That’s So True and Please, Please, please were mid tier.
Can’t stand Backbone, Fortnight, Too Sweet.
Stick Season and Beautiful Things were just such trash songs lapped up by people and played non-stop by them.
Best number 1 is close between Sailor Song and Espresso but Espresso just edges because it’s such a summer anthem.
Stick Season sounds like he found one of Ed Sheeran’s crap songs on a bus … and released it himself
That Beyonce track is utter sh1te !
Almost as bad as that ‘put a ring on it’ garbage - 57 million views of her fake boobs
The Taylor Swift song is terrible
127 million people just lost 4 minutes of their lives they won’t get back
That’s means she basically owes humanity
966 years !!!

I have only heard Beyonce and Eminem
I can only assume it’s teenage lad’s clicking on the Sabina Carpenter videos
All Eminem songs sound exactly the same apart from Stan the only decent one ( he owes Dido a huge debt of gratitude)
Benson Boone and Hosier were both tolerable
The Charlie XCX was complete garbage ( and I love Billie Eilish usually)

She’s literally taken the world by storm lol. She spent a total of 21 weeks at number 1 this year, a new record.

Yeah but they’re mediocre pop songs ( at best ) plus they all sound like they’re rip offs old hits

you cannot compare number 1's if today with any number one pre-online music download, its futile and erroneous
Jesus I am so glad I don’t listen to the radio these days !
If those were the number ones of the past 12 months then the music industry is dying

For this day and age though (digital days) it’s still very impressive.

I can guide those teens to more attractive female singers than Sabrina Carpenter (with all due respect to her) there is Ella Langley and Mizuho Lin (Mizuho being the woman in my Avatar) and it will enlighten them.:joker:
Plus in all seriousness, both artists do genuinely have good songs and strong talent, it's such a shame that the UK at large won't give Metal or Country a chance at all.

We went to see Metallica at the M.E.N arena about 15 years ago … amazing !
They are still touring to this day and sounding just as good ( maybe better) at times
I also LOVE Kasey Musgraves

She has a good voice tbf.
Yes indeed ..
I think she’s possibly the closest I have heard to Karen Carpenter - throw in Sade and you have my three favourite female singers
