why dont they go and live in countries where you can marry your cousins and have the laws you want, sorry but you live in the West, running for election on a Palestinian ticket my ass.....

I used to work in a school for special needs where 90 per cent of the children were a result of marrying cousins, those poor kids have no life

He makes out this is a reactionary move when we had zero problems with people marrying their first cousins until recently.. it had been something that died out naturally

Let them marry each other I say, might be a good way to cut back the strength of their army for the future war

We are doomed anyway given they have huge families plus they are apparently allowed numerous wives ( who can all claim family allowance/ benefits) then we have the millions of illegals of fighting age coming in by boat

I find it astonishing that people mentioning this who I've talked to who I know, actually think you CANNOT marry your first Cousin in the UK.

It is actually legal to do so.
( Although the Catholic church frowns on it).
However the C of E permits it too.

Royals have done so too, in fact Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert were first cousins.
Really, people didn't know this was legal anyhow.

Do you personally support it being legal Joey?

I don't mean it to sound confrontational, I'm just genuinely a bit curious.

I'm personally glad that Iqbal isn't advocating for Brother and Sister tbh.:joker:

the point is it doesn't need to be enshrined in law because people just don't do it that often.

Well, I wouldn't want to marry ANY ONE of my Cousins for sure :joker:
I'm equally sure that would be the same vice versa.
Oh crikey no :joker:

On balance I wouldn't think it advisable myself, however it is deemed legal.
I'm not though sure this would be one of the top things on my agenda to change now.

If I was however asked to vote on it, then I'd personally vote to change the law and make it illegal.
So the answer to your question Mock is no I don't support it.

Thank god! Joey.:joker:

Tbh there would have to be some really horrible alternative scenarios for my own personal morality, to ever consider marrying any of my Cousins.
