Horrible editing!

from what I saw on the highlights tonight, they definitely want Nicky to go. Watched her yesterday, they didnt show her once playing around, and consoling chanelle, and being nice in general. I didnt want to believe, but they purposely did that to get a lot of people to hate her, and vote in numbers. And that end part showing her asleep in the bedroom, what was the point of that? Showing Gerry talking to himself in the garden. What!!??
They are completely ignoring any of her good points
By the way, I aint no nicky fan either. I am just saying what I saw!

i really dont think its got anything to do with racism, because they make brian look great in the editing, and they give charley lots of coverage too, maybe they dislike nicky, but i dont think its racism at all

Man I have seen nother racial commet by you. Please dont undermine my point by bringing race into it. What I have said have nothing to do with race. They just know that Nicky is not as popular as Gerry, so they tried to make her look horriblee to get as many votes as possible. Drop the racial issues, we dont need anymore of those!

I totally agree with you.

I am by no way a Nicky fan (many people will back me up on this :laugh:), and even want her to go this Friday, but still - she hardly made an appearance in tonight episode, and when she did - it was either sleeping or grumbling (which she does FAR TOO MUCH of anyway, but still - she does other things too which weren't shown).

Completely disagree. I'm not going to say that they deliberately edit her in a negative light, because I can't possibly prove it. But it certainly seems that way. She's not the most zany, demonstrative of people by any means, but that's hardly a flaw. Many of the negative points attributed to her only persist because certain hm's refuse to let go (i.e. Carole, although why it should concern her whether Nicky is a man-hater or not, I really have no idea). Gerry accused her of having certain discussions with people in the caravan during his nominations, when he couldn't possibly have known any such thing, much less provide any verification for his allegations. Both of their nominations were bogus, and both have a problem with her because she refuses to kowtow to them.

Nicky's nomination of Piggy, and her reasons for doing so, were by far the most insightful we've seen this year from anyone. And they prove what some people here have noted previously - that Nicky has a heart of gold and a very sensitive nature.

I agree completely with you CharlotteSometimes, and I think it was blatant. Because she was nothing but smiles, and having some deep conversations last night, and during the day. They didnt show her discussions with chanelle at all. And she wasnt the opnly one to complain about Gerry telling the time out loud. It would annoy me too, just like at work if you have a clock in front of you all the time, it seems time is just dragging. But they havent shown gerry arguing with carole, and arguing with ziggy., Instead, they showed him making idiotic talks about crewepy crawlies in the garden, to make him look funny. They want loads of votes for nicky this week.

I agree, I thought it was poor editing for Nicky, tonight. I havn't even seen footage of the full extent of the nights events, but the way the clip of Nicky was shown right at the end was just typical of the way the makers bend over backwards to highlight certain peoples bad aspects. On learning that Nicky was actually part of the fun for a time, it's even more shocking. The producers now need to even things up with a few shots of Gerry being boring, like they did with Nicky.
