View Full Version : Marcello’s sore-loser behaviour

Anyone got any recent stories to add to the ever-increasing number of petty digs towards Ali, thinking his misogynistic, obtuse, entitled self deserved to win?
Apparently he’s done a little song on TikTok now about hating Ali.

Supposedly a few of them are still quite a bit butthurt. Seems like most of the finalists anyway. I'd read it's Emma, Nathan & Rosie particularly also throwing shade. I think they have no other content or way to cash in and it's a way to keep people engaging them online... Marcello in particular, depending on how slow the news is (it's not...), he can generate just one more headline about himself by pulling her into his "music career"... it's also a nice way to get back at her for any ill will between them by continuing to milk the situation.

Yeah, I did hear about Emma.

I hear Marcello’s on a Harry Potter-themed baking show (available to watch on Amazon Prime) now. You can’t miss this stuff if you follow Reddit, even if you don’t actively seek out information on housemates or follow them on social media.
In … other news, Ali and Lily continue to get on like a house on fire (it’s actually really sweet) and Rosie and Nathan are still a thing, which I wasn’t expecting.

I think that it's best for all of them to just move on.
I personally think that Marcello deserved to beat Ali, but obviously the public didn't agree.
Marcello at the end of the day did behave badly in arguments with Sarah, which I think cost him the Show.

Social media is probably fueling the fire aswell,I don't follow any of them as I don't have Instagram nor tiktok. But yeah they should all just move on now... before we know it , they'll be another series of civilian BB.

I’m actually glad Marcello’s toxicity didn’t win in the end. Didn’t mind him but I’d rather Ali won. And so-she did.

I probably see bits myself in Marcello (including some of the negative sides to his personality) so I do just relate to him more than Ali personally.
At least Dean didn't win.:joker:

Ali literally had toxic traits herself . But anyway it's all over.

If Dean had won,it would have been the worst! .And would have made me feel physically ill.
I still don't think Marcello was that bad in the house, he still had likeable qualities & had more depth. Whereas someone like Paul from the previous year, was just a 1 dimensional pr1ck imo.

She did but she wasn’t a poster child for toxic masculinity and didn’t cross the boundaries that Marcello did. Again, there were elements of Marcello I liked a lot so I’m not firmly a hater either way. I just don’t think he deserved to win.

Marcello just made a few sexual jokes for the most part.
Looking back on it, I don't remember him being like an Andrew Tate.

People like to scapegoat him , because don't forget he tormented Ali in the BB house ...poor girl must have been a nightmare, even winning 90k won't help her recover from the monster .

Tbf if he is the one doing all of this to Ali then I think he has crossed the line in this scenario.

He’s being abusive at this point. He crossed the line early in Big Brother, and that’s just based on the stuff that aired on-screen. There was even more to it behind the scenes. A lot more.

Marcello is a fascinating person because he has his good sides to himself, but if he has let this Ali stuff escalate then I think that's really sad to hear about, and that he has possibly let himself down.

All I've seen him do is defend Khaled ,on how she unfairly judged him. Her treatment of Khaled was wrong imo .
I don't know what he's supposed to have done now ,but it sounds like Ali is making herself a victim as usual. Marcello was getting death threats on his social media , he's been called a sex offender and allsorts.

If that's all Marcello has done then fair enough.
And I know that some of his haters were extreme at the time unfortunately, and I'm taking it from what you're saying that some of them are carrying it on post-series.:umm2:
I honestly don't get how making sex jokes (regardless of if some of them might've been a bit extreme for some people) makes him a sex offender?
Is expressing thinking women are good-looking a bad thing on modern BB?

I don't have insta or Tiktok, but his haters will just see the worst in him no matter what. And there's no excusing death threats either.
Exactly... there's disliking his jokes which is fine ,and then there's accusing him of a serious crime which is completely uncalled for.
Especially when those same people probably found Emma's smutty humour funny aswell,so yeah double standards.

There comes a point though when it really shouldn't have anything to do with him (Marcello). It's mostly grabbing attention and clicks. He can and should promote himself if that is his job, sure, but he doesn't have to directly insert himself into other people's drama to do that, if that makes sense... I can understand why people say he is skeevy. Even though I don't really care, personally.
I haven't been following any of the latest drama, so take the above with a grain of salt. I usually have to "find out" through Reddit and it's only reading bits of what is happening/has happened.
If Ali went full nasty gram on Tiktok towards him, then maybe I could see backlash from other HMs outside of Khaled... but Khaled is also an adult and should handle some things on his own.. and also Ali is Ali, so some behavior should just be expected when dealing with her to a certain point... another other option also not to deal with it and ignore... otherwise, very easy to get accused of "harassing" others.
Edit: Thoughts
