Anyone else bored with BB8 ?

I am:sleep: when I think back to past series...Live Sat tasks, good weekly tasks that lasted for 3-4 days, split house rich and poor, evictees put in another room to spy on housemates then put back in, Another house....the list goes on.

The way i see it, all we have really had this time is a fake eviction..ok excitement for one night, Ziggy and Chanelle, and Charley arguing...hmmmm is that all BB has to offer this year? :puzzled:

I think it was boring to start with but has improved of late and been pretty decent viewing.

Nope. But then, I don't analyse it, I just watch it and enjoy it and don't really think about other series and compare because this is a completely different series, whether it's better or worse and as it's one of the best things on the tele at the minute, I just watch and enjoy rather than analyse and compare.

ive not been too intrested in it this year, i disagree with the "If you dont like it dont watch it" i dont like it doesnt mean im not allowed too watch it. Im still watching too get me updates.
During fake week i watched every night, because it was exciting. havent really watched properly though.

Although i must say ive done this before in other years. Not as often as this year tho. Im bored, i dont wanna watch people sit around doing nothing and arguing... its got boring now.

It's gotten a bit better as the show has progressed, and the numbers have gone down - as Big Brother usually does.

The wrong people are getting nominated and evicted, in my opinion, though.

To discuss how boring they think it is?! After all this is a big brother forum for the discussion of opinions relating to that said topic - big brother. To put foward a motion that if its boring we should not discuss it , well , thats just a little bit less than insane if you ask me.

The ratings will drop. You can almost bet on it. A hero is useless without a villian , the story needs a villian or their is no story. No story - no ratings.

Agree 100%. It is tiresome to hear people complaining of people who complain.

Those that feel a need to complain do so for a percieved reason. The complainers love the BB format. However some will come to the conclusion that maybe in any given year the format is not working as well as it could.

In the world of free expression complainers and none complainers have a right if not a duty to free express. That is surely the corner stone of debate and why these forums exist......

Express and disagree where needed but not argue if at all possible is the aim but not always the result....:sad:

If they played BB straight, the housemates would control the show. They would get rid of the annoying housemates, and just leave us with a wonderful family type show, where everyone gets along. The people on C4 do market research, and they know why peopke watch the show! If they just let everything go smoothly and normally, it woould turn into a boring show, that would have an incredibly tedious final nonth. I say, do what you want BB, just give us a good show. I am loving it so far, especially that those HMs cant get rid of Charley. I want her to be gone in the final week, just missing out on the Finale! They we'll get the big Charley eviction at the end!

I have to say that this years show is boring me. The tasks have been pants and they dont last long enough. They arent playing with the housemates enough..... sleep deprive them I say and make them go crazy!!!!!!!!

But they tried that didnt they and the housemates gave up......pffft....lackluss lot

I agree exept in my case I am not loving it. That would be to strong a word for me to use. To me it is a let down although being a fan off BB i will continue to watch hoping it will come good in the end.

The problem that CH4 have is that so many voting viewers treat it like a game of skittles......They think the housemates are something to knock down as soon as possible instead of pacing the stay of the housemates to maximise the entertainment potential.....They seem to ignore the fact that an eviction is not just an eviction of a housemate it is also in most cases the eviction of a story line which can be a disaster from an entertainment perspective......

Got rid of Laura, who despised Ziggy, Got rid of Seay, who just wrecked havoc in the house. And we got rid of Billie, who I didnt like, but he was such an important character, who everyone wanted out. So we are left with Charley as the vilain, and everyone else being boring, other than the entertaining once, Like Twins, and Brian. So maybe it is going down a bit. Oh well, lets just seewhat happens next!:shrug:

I think what BB could do if there are any future series is bring in the least extrovert ones (Dullards washermen/women type). Then say a third through the series bring in a bunch of extreme characters.....The public having endured the boring ones will be glad of an exrtovert change....

As things are I fear the best characters will always go early and BB will become a worn out TV format.

Although another solution might be to try positive voting throughout as opposed to negative voting...

I've watched them all and tried to miss as few shows as possible. But this year I'm only watching it once every 2/3 days. Watched the first part last night, was bored so turned it off.

Watching people like Charley really doesn't entertain me. Once she goes I'll probably go back to watching everynight
