Set a plan to help.

True. Workaround should always be first choice and leaving kids alone never a choice unless necessary.

This is such a sad case, she was obviously under alot of strain, yes she shouldn't have left them, but then neither should their Dad, or Dads, not sure if its the same Dad, and he doesn't get a prison term

Watching on bbc London there was a lot more to this story.

The mother was a clearly a bit mental. Candles every where, messy house etc

The social services went and she should have been followed up multiple times but wasn’t

Social services are more to blame than the mental mum imo

And the white dads family complaining about how evil the mum is when it was there relation who left these kids with a mental woman without a care in the world, you should be ashamed

Well it depends on if the Dad is allowed custody of the children.

The Mother neglected four really young children in the house together, anyone with half a brain can tell how that's going to end.

She should've been facing at least 20 years imo.

…the picture it all paints of the neglect of the children/of herself and how they all lived is just so heartbreaking…the life those babies lived was horrendous and tragic and the life they lost was horrendous and tragic…I’m reading that the jail term might change to a hospital term…?…that Deveca Rose was such deteriorated in her mental awareness and in any reality she had that she wasn’t even aware that she had children anymore…so she had no awareness that she wasn’t even aware leaving them alone as she’d lost awareness that they existed…such a sad, sad story and another sad case of a broken system…‘enquiries and words’ are nothing to those children …
